I have read that the original Matrix script had people being CPUs in the pods, not batteries, but the producers somehow thought that viewers would be confused. Hmmm so somehow a few years into the beginning of the computer/internet explosion they expected people not to be able to grok that pod people were being used as CPUs vs batteries. I think we know which explanation did not age well.
Even worse, they double down on it in the new film, and claim that the state of mind of the occupant increases their power output... So much for basic physics...

That was an amazing and accurate descriptive... And probably not just of those two films either... Next time can you do a three way comparison, I'm sure that you can find three near identical movies! Also, have you thought of doing any book reading? I think you would be a great kids story teller... I'm not a kid, but I'd listen to just about anything you read! It seems significantly more like the matrix I think because of one thing you said: "he sees the invisible codes that tie his world together". And turning on captions, I realize you said codes not code, but now I've chosen a side so imma be . . . we'll go with headstrong and not change my mind.
