My husband and i have visited it couple of times, each time it was raining hard and sky covered in clouds. As we approached it the clouds opened up like in a circle and the sun shown forth very beautiful. The 2nd time my husband mom was with and we told her about the clouds parting as we came up to it. Like the 1st time with his mom the clouds parted like the first time and sun shown forth . we all was amazed

I've researched the scriptures and asked people with keys who would know about Adam-ondi-Ahman in my research and have come to exactly the same sense of understanding about the place and the events past and in the future that have and will take place there. I've also visited the location twice and walked vast portions of the property... the two particular places that you showed in this lecture. Great spiritual promptings came to me while there. Also, Spring Hill, that point there mentioned in the D&C, has some incredible history associated with it. You've nailed the same understanding of this subject that I've gleaned in my years of curiosity and prompted need to know about this place. I plan to purchase your brochure and study it. I love the insight shared starting at timestamp 10:10 in this video. I had never considered that perspective. Makes a lot more sense, and it makes me want to be watching even more diligently so as not to miss out or fail to qualify for am invitation to the conference at Adam-ondi-Ahman. This is what the Bible means when it talks about the Lord coming to find his faithful servants diligently at work in his house, rather than slacking off and gossiping, contending, etc. (See Matthew 24:44-47.)

I've followed my Lord Jesus since I was 13 and when I was 59 I joined His Church (Baptized in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea), but Scripture is clear that when Jesus Christ returns to Earth he will split the Mount of Olives from East to West first before going anywhere else.
We also need to remember that Christ will also appear in His Temple in Zion. This will be the Temple in Independence, Missouri. This appearance will also occurs prior to Christ coming in glory to all the world.

I'm wondering if the gathering at Adam Ondi Ahman coincides with the parable of The Ten Virgins? That it won't be the entire membership of the Church or just those with a church calling but those who have oil in their lamps, those who have been endowed in holy temples and are being true and faithful to those covenants and actively seeking to be members of the Church of the Firstborn. Couldn't this also be the quickening event where those persons who receive their next assignment are translated as described in D and C 78: 11-22.? There's been so much emphasis on having your temple recommend even with temples closed, to be "recommended to the Lord." That's my honest belief. Please correct me if I'm way off.
Hi Dunlappin, consider the parable of the talents as compared to the meeting(s) of Adam-Ondi-Ahman. This is where all who held keys will report to their priesthood authority. This will all roll up to Adam, and then be presented to Christ.

How will every faithful latter day saints from all countries gather in AOA? Will they take breaks from their jobs, get a visa and and fly there? Will that be after the great tribulation? Which tribulation: the one that happens in America or the one in Jerusalem?
You'd be surprised at just how many truly faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints there really are. Less than you'd imagine. We'll find out when the call comes.

I’ve noticed that over the last few years that some members feel we will be called to gather at places of safety before going to Missouri. What is your opinion of that?

Are you up for some questions? Why was Adam commanded to construct the alter out of unhewn stone when in later dispensations the alter was constructed of hewn stone with specific dimensions? Are the righteous saints who are in attendance at the great sacrament meeting exempted from being counted by a child as delineated in Isaiah 10? While traveling through the mid west and east, my former in-laws visited Adam-ondi-Ahman and were surprised to see massive construction (the laying of a waste disposal system and water system). Can you confirm that this has transpired and Adam-ondi-Ahman has been prepared for the great meeting(s) to come?
As far as the second question, it seems to me that Isaiah 10 is talking about after the Lord comes in glory and destroys all the wicked. The great sacrament meeting you are referring to is prior to that. And there being construction there like you are mentioning, I would LOVE to know more about that! :)

Yes you will, if the lord sees fit. The lord would do what he will to enable His qualified saints to attend. There is no limit to the Lords power. His power is not exhaustive. What you need now is to seek personal revelation giving you the assurance that u shall be there. Then live worthily for that to be fulfilled so that you shall be ready anytime that time comes. This assurance comes through earnest seeking through prayer and all other sacred means of obtaining personal revelation.

I think there seems to be some conflicting info on this, or several sessions. I have read that ALL saints would have an opportunity to be here, like a Sacrament meeting. Why would worthy saints that just don't happen to have leadership roles be precluded?
As Tom mentioned, Elder McConkie specified that Faithful Saints would also gather. In president Nelson’s April ensign address he states “The time is coming when those who do not obey the Lord will be separated from those who do” -I believe this is not the world vs church but members of the church. He also states “Why do we need such resilient faith? Because difficult days are ahead. Rarely in the future will it be easy or popular to be a faithful Latter-day Saint. Each of us will be tested. The Apostle Paul warned that in the latter days, those who diligently follow the Lord “shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). That very persecution can either crush you into silent weakness or motivate you to be more exemplary and courageous in your daily lives”. -notice he specifies “faithful” Latter Day Saints Then he qualifies our faithfulness in trial with “being more faithful and exemplary in our daily lives” and “As you keep your covenants with increasing precision, and as you defend the Church and kingdom of God on the earth today, the Lord will bless you with strength and wisdom to accomplish what only members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can accomplish.” -I agree that we are choosing right now to be all in with the Lord. The middle ground is gone.

I bet we’d All be assigned to do intense “gathering “ missionary work! Studying the scriptures, prayer and fasting, keeping up with Come Follow Me lessons. I like comments. I like reading like minded people as it builds my faith. At the same time yes there could be inappropriate comments that need to be watched.
I really enjoy reading others perspectives of these doctrinal points and the history being used to interpret in this manner. It helps me to understand what ideas can add to this perspective. For instance I’d love to hear what opinions of these events any other member of the church leadership other than Elder Mcconkie. We know that he sometimes taught things that others in the Quorums didn’t necessarily agree with.
For the 10th Article of Faith, I wonder if you didn't touch on it because it wasn't your focus, but don't you think the "and" is really saying AND...like it's a separate thing that follows the gathering. "We believe in the literal gathering of Israel AND in the restoration of the Ten Tribes..." So, this is the 10 lost tribes coming forth from the north countries. That these people will come to Adam Ondi Ahman too? Then they will help build Zion. Let me know your thoughts.

I wonder if Adam-ondi-Ahman will be like to dedication of the Nauvoo temple when all worthy members attended to dedication. Our church building became an extension of the Nauvoo temple. Would the temples and church buildings around the world become an extension of this meeting with our Savior. Would we not be "there" as those of us where in Nauvoo. Has the Lord been preparing us with a type and shadow of this future event. How many chose to attend those temple dedications? What did you have to hold to enter the church building? Was the media there? No like the ten virgins some are preparing and some are not. Just a thought I've had through the years.
My son recently returned from a mission from Saõ Paulo, Brazil.🇧🇷 One of those he taught almost didn't get baptized because they didn't want to have to come to the United States when the Lord returns. I was quite surprised that the investigator knew about this but is am now curious about not only those who live in the promised land (North and South America) but Europe, Asia, Africa, etc. I don't know that this question has been answered and I do have faith that the Lord will provide a way, but I am curious if anything has been said about how a worldwide church would gather at Adam-ondi-Ahman?
@@happylatter-daysaint3503 We have been told in the past to gather in our own lands as Stakes of Zion, but when the Central Stake of Zion is formally established and the New Jerusalem is built, this is where the Lord’s people will reside to escape the evil of the world.
As a college student in utah years ago there was a temple set to be dedicated, but so many wanted to be involved that the church allowed regular church houses to be temporarily consecrated as a temple- so that many people who longed to attend the temple dedication could recieve a special recomend, and meet in these set apart church houses where they broadcasted the temple dedication to the church houses so that many many more could attend that special sacred event. I wonder- perhaps we will be gathered into our own stake centers which would have been specially and temporarily made ready for many to "attend" who couldn't otherwise, where each of us have opportunity to attend this great meeting...
There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there's perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account. It's called Canaan, Babylon, and Egypt A Comparative Theological Analysis on Creation sold by Eborn Books. Great read. Thumbs up! 👍

I've followed my Lord Jesus since I was 13 and when I was 59 I joined His Church (Baptized in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea), but Scripture is clear that when Jesus Christ returns to Earth he will split the Mount of Olives from East to West first before going anywhere else.

I'm wondering if the gathering at Adam Ondi Ahman coincides with the parable of The Ten Virgins? That it won't be the entire membership of the Church or just those with a church calling but those who have oil in their lamps, those who have been endowed in holy temples and are being true and faithful to those covenants and actively seeking to be members of the Church of the Firstborn. Couldn't this also be the quickening event where those persons who receive their next assignment are translated as described in D and C 78: 11-22.? There's been so much emphasis on having your temple recommend even with temples closed, to be "recommended to the Lord." That's my honest belief. Please correct me if I'm way off.
Hi Dunlappin, consider the parable of the talents as compared to the meeting(s) of Adam-Ondi-Ahman. This is where all who held keys will report to their priesthood authority. This will all roll up to Adam, and then be presented to Christ.
Elder Bednar's talk from the last conference regarding a test gave a great explanation of the 10 virgins and would fit right into your observation.
Also u may read "visions of glory" by John pontius. It's an eye opener. Pray for the spirit to confirm all truth while u read.

How will every faithful latter day saints from all countries gather in AOA? Will they take breaks from their jobs, get a visa and and fly there? Will that be after the great tribulation? Which tribulation: the one that happens in America or the one in Jerusalem?
I have similar questions.
You'd be surprised at just how many truly faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints there really are. Less than you'd imagine. We'll find out when the call comes.

This is an excellent presentation. My wife and I was able to visit Adam Ohndi Aman 6 yes ago, you can definitely feel the spirit there. I’ve noticed that over the last few years that some members feel we will be called to gather at places of safety before going to Missouri. What is your opinion of that?
Oct 27 at Adam Ondi Ahman. My husband walked into woods to pray take pictures when he came to where i was he showed me his pictures he had taken overlooking valley. There was a beam of light from the blue sky shinning down touching the ground he had a couple pictures different angles their was the light

Are you up for some questions? Why was Adam commanded to construct the alter out of unhewn stone when in later dispensations the alter was constructed of hewn stone with specific dimensions? Are the righteous saints who are in attendance at the great sacrament meeting exempted from being counted by a child as delineated in Isaiah 10? While traveling through the mid west and east, my former in-laws visited Adam-ondi-Ahman and were surprised to see massive construction (the laying of a waste disposal system and water system). Can you confirm that this has transpired and Adam-ondi-Ahman has been prepared for the great meeting(s) to come?

As far as the second question, it seems to me that Isaiah 10 is talking about after the Lord comes in glory and destroys all the wicked. The great sacrament meeting you are referring to is prior to that. And there being construction there like you are mentioning, I would LOVE to know more about that! :)

I think you will. I think all living saints with oil in their lamps will be quickened as it says in D&C in order to be in attendance.
Yes you will, if the lord sees fit. The lord would do what he will to enable His qualified saints to attend. There is no limit to the Lords power. His power is not exhaustive. What you need now is to seek personal revelation giving you the assurance that u shall be there. Then live worthily for that to be fulfilled so that you shall be ready anytime that time comes. This assurance comes through earnest seeking through prayer and all other sacred means of obtaining personal revelation.

I think there seems to be some conflicting info on this, or several sessions. I have read that ALL saints would have an opportunity to be here, like a Sacrament meeting. Why would worthy saints that just don't happen to have leadership roles be precluded?
As Tom mentioned, Elder McConkie specified that Faithful Saints would also gather. In president Nelson’s April ensign address he states “The time is coming when those who do not obey the Lord will be separated from those who do”
-I believe this is not the world vs church but members of the church.
He also states “Why do we need such resilient faith? Because difficult days are ahead. Rarely in the future will it be easy or popular to be a faithful Latter-day Saint. Each of us will be tested. The Apostle Paul warned that in the latter days, those who diligently follow the Lord “shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). That very persecution can either crush you into silent weakness or motivate you to be more exemplary and courageous in your daily lives”.

Then he qualifies our faithfulness in trial with “being more faithful and exemplary in our daily lives” and “As you keep your covenants with increasing precision, and as you defend the Church and kingdom of God on the earth today, the Lord will bless you with strength and wisdom to accomplish what only members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can accomplish.”
-I agree that we are choosing right now to be all in with the Lord. The middle ground is gone.

I like comments. I like reading like minded people as it builds my faith. At the same time yes there could be inappropriate comments that need to be watched.
I really enjoy reading others perspectives of these doctrinal points and the history being used to interpret in this manner. It helps me to understand what ideas can add to this perspective. For instance I’d love to hear what opinions of these events any other member of the church leadership other than Elder Mcconkie. We know that he sometimes taught things that others in the Quorums didn’t necessarily agree with.

For the 10th Article of Faith, I wonder if you didn't touch on it because it wasn't your focus, but don't you think the "and" is really saying AND...like it's a separate thing that follows the gathering.

So, this is the 10 lost tribes coming forth from the north countries. That these people will come to Adam Ondi Ahman too? Then they will help build Zion. Let me know your thoughts.

I wonder if Adam-ondi-Ahman will be like to dedication of the Nauvoo temple when all worthy members attended to dedication. Our church building became an extension of the Nauvoo temple. Would the temples and church buildings around the world become an extension of this meeting with our Savior. Would we not be "there" as those of us where in Nauvoo. Has the Lord been preparing us with a type and shadow of this future event. How many chose to attend those temple dedications? What did you have to hold to enter the church building? Was the media there? No like the ten virgins some are preparing and some are not. Just a thought I've had through the years.

My son recently returned from a mission from Saõ Paulo, Brazil.🇧🇷 One of those he taught almost didn't get baptized because they didn't want to have to come to the United States when the Lord returns.
I was quite surprised that the investigator knew about this but is am now curious about not only those who live in the promised land (North and South America) but Europe, Asia, Africa, etc.
I don't know that this question has been answered and I do have faith that the Lord will provide a way, but I am curious if anything has been said about how a worldwide church would gather at Adam-ondi-Ahman?
Won't there be Holy places in each land for people to gather??
@@happylatter-daysaint3503 We have been told in the past to gather in our own lands as Stakes of Zion, but when the Central Stake of Zion is formally established and the New Jerusalem is built, this is where the Lord’s people will reside to escape the evil of the world.
If the Lord can part the red sea He can move people around to where they need to be...
As a college student in utah years ago there was a temple set to be dedicated, but so many wanted to be involved that the church allowed regular church houses to be temporarily consecrated as a temple- so that many people who longed to attend the temple dedication could recieve a special recomend, and meet in these set apart church houses where they broadcasted the temple dedication to the church houses so that many many more could attend that special sacred event. I wonder- perhaps we will be gathered into our own stake centers which would have been specially and temporarily made ready for many to "attend" who couldn't otherwise, where each of us have opportunity to attend this great meeting...

I live in the area. There are farms around and small towns nearby. My stake center is only a few miles away from Adam-ondi-Ahman as well.
