There aren't words (that I have, anyway...) that adequately describe what this podcast has meant, and means to me. Thank you for the work, time, effort and sacrifice you-all contribute to this on-going work. It is fantastic and encouraging. Each episode has uplifted and strengthened me. I pray for you all, and for the continued podcasts to come! The D&C!! I can't wait! Bless you
So grateful for inspiration and extra knowledge gained through you and your guests ! So grateful for the Book of Mormon, which broughtt me to Jesus Christ and a deeper understanding of who He is and His mission. Thank you again for all you do and are…😊
I SO enjoyed this week's lesson. THANK YOU ALL for taking of your time, when you have full-time jobs, church callings, and family duties to tend to. I feel truly blessed by your podcast. 🙏 And, yes, Hank, I always love the stories.
Your enlightened facts on the importance of children touched my heart and encouraged me to try to smile, bear my testimony, share experiences that might help them have more anchor in the gospel and encourage the children around me. Especially now they need to remember that they are a child of God.
May blessings boomerang back at you all for the love and peace and joy I feel each morning as I listen to this podcast. I break it up so that I listen to a portion each day. I can't thank you enough for your lovely smiles and laughs and kind thoughtfulness.
This podcast has shown me how to get closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ! It has changed me as a person and follower of Jesus. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I lived in the ward with Sister Mori Farmer when the home teacher worked on their house. John was right there was giggling going on in antisapation. Partically every one that drove by came in to help. It was a great experience for the whole ward.
This lesson is wonderful! Thank you Dr. Ogletree for your insights and lesson. I appreciate all of your lessons on Follow Him. This one, with regards to children, has touched my heart. Thank you from Topeka, KS. Merry Christmas to all. ♥♥♥
Brethren, while you are enumerating all the wartime experiences of Mormon, don’t forget that he also studied and abridged all the sacred records of the past thousand years. Surely that must have given him the spiritual shields to protect him from his current environment. I am listening from Laketown, Utah (Bear Lake).
I have often thought that, "Children are an heritage of the Lord" could be said, "Children are the inheritance of the Lord". What we inherit as Children of God is the ability to have children. The work, the glory, and the joy of God are his children. If we would have this joy our work and glory would be with our spouse our children.
The sad part is that part of the reason for childbirth being low is because people don’t get married anymore. And quite a few have fertility problems. I’ve had no decent options to get married. So I probably won’t have kids because I am over 40. I will be extremely surprised if I actually do get married ever. Most guys are scared off of dating for some reason in the mid singles range. I know some girls who are dating non members. I won’t do that, so the other option is stay single. Which is pretty sad. Especially since there are decent guys, they just won’t date. In fact I just watched my Elders Quorum in my mid singles ward help a girl move from my apartment building. They were helping her move for 4 hours. I offered to help, but the EQ president said no thanks because it was heavy lifting.
I LOVE your podcast and love the picture at the end that you show of the production crew, but want to be able to put a face with each of the names. Would it be possible to add the names under the photo or change the order in which you say all of the names at the end of each podcast to go left to right in the picture so that we can identify who is who? Just a thought. Ü Thank you to everyone that makes these podcasts possible. I currently teach Gospel Doctrine in my ward and love and use so many of the insights you and your guests share.
Got one for you Mark D&C 107:57. Have you studied the Book of Enoch? I have I get the same feeling from the BOE as I do the BOM and the mysteries of God are in both.
