Coincidently, I started feeding my glow and regular worm boxes with morel mushrooms from Bahari back in closed beta. Once I had about 75 regular morels and about 45 starred morels in storage for cooking, I just started feeding them to the worm boxes. I always gather them in Bahari while chasing pallium and flow trees and mining iron ore, so every trip I return with 20-25 morels, and this has kept my worm boxes running 24/7 for several weeks now. Now I don't have a bank of worm boxes, but it does add another 1,000 passive gold a day to my wallet.

I just found your videos yesterday and I've enjoyed them and learned a lot! Thank you! PS - my power legit went out several times today because of a dust storm... maybe its from not commenting on your videos yesterday. LOL! 🤣🤣 Thank you!
Nicely done! Been doing the sashimi method with my glowies and they're churning out just fine. I DID do loaded potato soups, because those are reasonably easy to craft, boost cooking gain a lot, and are worth a bunch of goodies from the glow farms. I wanted to get a lot of worms fast because i really enjoy the fishing, and my wife and I did it together, so the process was fast and cheap for both of us. After getting sashimi, though, it's far, FAR more economical to go that route for sure.
@@TaintedAura I just use the cheap 23 gold value fishies from the home pond for it. Easy to fish up... costs nothing (no bait), and makes the sashimi consistent priced to put into the machines. If they all have the same value, they will all stack up in there. Unfortunately when it comes to glow worm farms, the value of the item you put into it doesn't matter... only the name. Starred will usually get you 1 more worm and a few more ferts, but those won't stack with non-starred, so I usually reserve 1 or 2 machines for those.
@@IraRobinson This is false. The value of the fish used in the sashimi does in fact change the amount of glow worms you get per sashimi. The quality of the sashimi (star vs no star) doesn't. Using scarlet koi or mottled gobli (both of them can be fished at your house pond with glow worms) will make it so your sashimi gives 3 glow worms, which means you can turn 1 glow worm into 9 doing it this way.
@@Suttonciyo Have they recently changed that or something? because that wasn't my experience with it when testing things out. I'll definitely try it again though. Thank you for the correction.
@@IraRobinson I honestly don't know. Sometimes it bugs and whatever you put inside will only give 1 worm, so maybe that's what happened? For both grilled fish and sashimi the amount of worms depends on the fish's value. I assume other cooked meals work the same, but I haven't tested it.
The one thing I don't see mentioned in the comments or the video is the cost of the license to add that many glow worm farms...I'm currently only licensed for 13 crafting stations, and to add the next one its already up to 4k gold (it increments with each addition). So to get to the point you are at in the video will require a fairly significant initial investment...
Yeah, the last license is 32k gold hahaha and it gives you 30 crafting machines slots (300k in total), I already counted in the video, just with worm farms and preserves jar, 26 machines... well, this farming method is nice but its nearly endgame or burn the game farming gold to make the farm to FARM more gold by touching the game even less... I think Im good entering the game couple of hours for my tomatoes, the investment here is too much for me
Just want to make an edit to your video. You were seeing the price for the apple jam that wasnt star quality, star quality jam has a higher selling price, so it is for sure worth it to make apple jam.
This was great, thanks alot! Im a new player and have very little time during the week to play so this is perfect for me. Just wish i was at this point allready, grinding up to be able to buy all these things will take an eternity too haha
fruits in glow worm machines produce speedygro fertilizer instead of harvestboost fertilizer and speedygro is worth 2x the amount of harvestboost. growing apples or blueberries means you can make jam to get the extra worms and fertilizer.
I have been doing a combo garden of blueberries and apples to make pies with the regular ingredients and then I use the starred ones to make the Jams. That price showed on the Jams is the non star and you dont see the real price until you make it so starred Jam does sell for more, it is not equal. With Pies you generate 10x and 15x glowworms and then the speedy grow fertilizer which sells for 10g each vice 5g each.
Not sure if it's a bug or not but I have to login every hour for the growth tic to happen on the gardening. I once made a fully water-retaining and weed-block garden at bedtime, expecting it to be fully grown by the next morning, but it actually had only 1 hour's growth. Slightly annoying to be fair lol. The glow-worm box method works an absolute treat though.
People, stop capping your crops with 99 fertilizer, I capped my left side crops with 99 all of them and it disappeared suddenly, waited a couple ticks and they came back, capped left and bottom with 99 again, and now both of those are gone. There seems to be a bug with capping them, you can cap the trees that doesn't seem to be a problem as they use 9 fertilizers per tick (or something like that), but the others use 1 per tick, and it bugs out. So just keep them at 90 or w/e anything below 99 seems to work just fine.
Hmmm? TYVM For the Video I use all your tips in Palia I'm an AFK Player so these help me a lot! Carrots, Potatoes, Onions... possible with Meat a STEW?
You can get 6 apple trees if you put it in the following way: a row of onions/carrots, a row of apples, a row of tomatoes/potatoes, a row of apples, a row of onions/carrots.
Is it a known thing that Fruit/Jam/Pie changes the fertilizer type? Worm box becomes Harvest Boost and Glow worm becomes Speedy Grow. Don't know how efficient it is but it gets you speedy grow without medals.

It takes 12 flow tree planks and some other items to build one. It takes ages to farm flow wood due to teleport and ESP hackers so using the medals is much faster way to do it.
Thanks for the great content! I have been enjoying the videos and tips! I did have a question though. So you kind of need to be all in on one layout or another for the farming due to the plot limit? Is there a smaller layout that includes the apple or blueberries that also works so you can have some tomatoes going as well?

It takes 10 minutes per box, and if you have 30 boxes, that's 5 hours of effort you gotta expend every 30 hours. Mushrooms are less profitable but save you five IRL hours.
@@SwoleBenji Not the ask but I do agree to that in solos. If you have a community you just need two people to cut the time by 3 so its only an hour and a half to fill 30 boxes, realistically it just needs an hour since most people would have at most 20.

Party up with two other people and go Flow wood farming. You basically choose an area that's easy and chop down all the trees in a loop and will increase the spawning of flow trees.
Nerf incoming dude. A few days ago another streamers share his tomato farm passive income method, I said nerf incoming and lo and behold, my tomato plants and seeds lost its water retention properties within the hour. It just mysteriously disappear and now for every in-game day I have to water 81 tomato plant slots anew. The nerf was fast and furious. I think they gonna restrict the number of items you can buy from NPC per day. We will wait and see.

Biggest problem I have is getting enough flow wood to even make one glow worm box a day. I never find servers with active chats pointing them out. And my hours I can play a day are so limited. It’s tough out here. Flow wood is the one recourse I have non of. Plenty of everything else 😢
Party up with two other people and go Flow wood farming. You basically choose an area that's easy and chop down all the trees in a loop and will increase the spawning of flow trees.
Lazy, effortless i dont think so all the pre work u have to put into it before u can even start 😂
Unless I'm mistaken its always been like that. Crops can't buff identical crops, thats why you see people making setups mixing tomatoes and potatoes.
@@kingcupcakes5171I see. Thank you for the clarification. In this case it is my fault. So now I will alternate tomato with potato.

Yep. I read it.

I thought farms tick ONE time if you are offline? You can not just walk away and leave the game going all night/day and come back to a fully harvestable farm.. so even with the best layout unless you are actively on and playing it does not matter.
I mean... I can't say it in the video, but how do people NOT know how to get around afk kick mechanics these days?
