ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

When I was a kid I didn't know what the apocalypse was so I thought his name was "Pucker Lips" because of his blue lips.
When my brothers and I were kids, my youngest brother couldn't pronounce Juggernaut. He was in a Toys R Us with my mom picking out X-men figures for one of my other brothers, asking him, in front of a salesperson, "What other characters does he like?" My little brother says "Juggernuts". My mom was embarrassed.
When I was a kid never heard the word Apocalypse before watching the 90s X-Men animated series, so I didn't know the meaning or how to spell it. Just thought his name was referred to his big blue lips. xD
But ether way, Apocalypse is my all-time favorite Marvel villain. :)

I thought the same thing he would be bigger than the BAF version. Swapping the head with the BAF make BOTH look SO much better.
The BAF head is way too expensive, going to have to use one of these alt heads to complete it

Shartimus, I am a long time fan and have been watching since around 2014 when I was 9 or 10. I am now in my junior year of high school and still try to check in. You are one of the reasons why I am so fond of marvel legends I was always sure to get your opinion on a figure before I bought it. I don’t have many figures, but I’m getting back into collecting and want to start getting imports. I defiantly prefer the fully edited videos. Miss the Spider-Man clips.
Hey Shartimus prime got a question for you so I'm a drummer and I use 5A drumsticks what drumsticks do you like to use?🤔 and also nice video 😁✌️
Thanks man, I have a few different sticks I use. 5B for the punk, 7A for the swing, and I really like the Vic Firth Peter Erskine Big Band sticks for blues, funk, and other stuff. 5A’s are what usually recommend to people, so not a bad size. It’s a good all purpose size. 5B’s I’m throwing clobberknockers!
@@ShartimusPrime I hear you out man I've been playing for 10 years and I agree with you on those drumsticks because 7A are light so that's good for like swing, and 5B for punk because when you're playing punk you need that power and drive 😁✌️ and my favorite drummer is Buddy Rich he is legendary

I missed out on the BAF Apokalypse, and I need a "traditional' figure in my collection. Do you know if the Select is going to be 8.5 inches and how it would scale with my Legends. (FYI, I'm not attached to the AOA storyline, so I am going to pass on that line, thus the traditional search). Thanks man for the reviews and videos. Peace JJ

I was a kid when age of apocalypse happened in the comics. I hated it at first bc it was so different, but I ended up loving it. Still one of my favorite runs, idk if someone who picked it up today would love it or not.

Exceptional review of a pretty cool figure. I needed a figure to face off against my Eddie Brock Venom. I had this Apocalypse on pre-order but canceled when I found the Thing at Target. I'm still kind of wanting this figure. I dunno? I have to see how the funding goes.
I really think time hasbro started doing apocalypse horsemen to the best of my knowledge we've only every got sunfire and archangel, and the upcoming wolverine from house. I love to see Gambit, Polaris and Gazer to go with sunfire
