Hi Garry. Thank you for all the awesome informative videos. I've learnt allot from them.. I want some advice on a crank pulley for a opel corsa b 1.8 gsi. I'm having trouble trying to get the right pulley. Is there anyway I can email you come pics and you can advise me?
Yes, they are very useful, as you at least can tell if there is something marginal, or see the stored data if a customer complains about something that happens once every few days, without having to drive the vehicle for a week to see if you can replicate it.
Neat tool and your eally do not need more than this scan tool. Is it software upgradable? OBD2 scanners are horrifically expensive and i think it should only be purchased if your way of making a living is through car repairs.
Agreed Doc, well my life is as a mechanic and has been for decades so this was a long time coming, yes the software is upgradable, when new versions are developed you are notified to download the latest versions, one can purchase additional modules too, like fancy battery testing module, air suspension calibration, power balance module, to name but a few, so this tool is very versatile and it will be a long time before I need to upgrade this unit.

It does make certain diagnoses easier, but one still has to have the basic knowledge of the components and their function.
Will this work on a non-runner?, So that I can get an Idea of an issue before joining an auction for a non-runner cars on auctions
It depends on the issue, most diagnostics is done with just the ignition on.
