Change your shampoo and conditioner to something for fine hair. And something with biotin in it. If your hair falls out from shampoo and conditioner use, the product is too heavy. I nearly went bald because i used the wrong stuff. So my hair stylist whom I've known for 20 years, told me how to fix it. I wash my hair every day. Also, don't pull your hair when brushing. Turn your brush up and down to get tangles out. Works great for kids and people who are tender headed.

I remember when I faced hairfall, I did all the following to effectively reduce it -
.. Include hot oil scalp massages into your routine.
.. Don’t use very hot water when rinsing your hair.
.. Protect your hair from too much sweat.
.. Use a dual tooth neem wood comb to detangle wet hair.
.. Cut down on your sugar and unhealthy food intake.
.. Use gentle hairfall control shampoo and oil like Littleeextra coccconion.
.. Nurture a positive mindset for overall well-being.

For those worrying how much they shed in comparison to her: it’s important to note how often she washes her hair and brushes it. If she washes and brushes daily or frequently in a week then of course she is going to have less hair shed each of those times vs washing it once a week or every two weeks and brushing it less frequently. The less you wash and brush the more you hair you see shed each time since it built up. Rather than you regularly removing it. I don’t brush my hair often (gotta keep the coils popping) and wash my hair once every two weeks. It looks like I have shed enough to cover a baby’s entire head every time. My hair is fine.

Yes, those variables are very important to consider. The only product I'm using is olaplex hair treatment. It strengthens my hair really well without using so many products every time I have to wash my hair. I generally don't like to spend too much money and time just for hair so I choose what works best for me. I wash my hair once or twice a week and apply the treatment before washing. Works like a charm, there's not as much fallout as it used to be. And my shower used to be full of hair too!

Hey, I have more kinky hair but as someone who knows many people with curly hair, detangling your hair when wet is best. Dry can make it insanely difficult to get through so it’s best to detangle at least when it’s damp. Also, this goes for all hair types: start from the bottom and work your way up so knots don’t form at the bottom. Less painful and more manageable, although time consuming.

These are just a few tips I learned in barber school and over the years. I have really fine hair, but I've managed to make it healthier and fuller!
      1. Stretch out the wash days over time until you can wash every 3-5 days. It's SO much better for your hair. I know it gets really greasy for a while, but stick with it - it will eventually calm down since you're not stimulating your scalp so much.
      2. Don't brush so often. See #1 re: scalp stimulation.
      3. Don't use too many products. Dry shampoo is good occasionally, but too much will clog your scalp up.
      4. On wash day, shampoo the WHOLE head TWICE (you'll get a better lather the 2nd round), but only condition the mid-shaft to ends of your hair. Wash with warm water; rinse with cool water. Don't use a heavy leave-in. Lightweight detangler is okay.
(Extra tip: You can also rinse hair with apple cider vinegar to remove buildup and give shine.)
      5. Get a trim regularly to ward off split ends. Freshly cut hair is healthier and doesn't get tangled as easily (resulting in less hair loss). It also looks fuller!
      6. Use a silk pillowcase - less friction = less damage & less hair loss.
      7. Obviously a healthy diet & plenty of water help a ton, but you can also take an Omega-3 or fish oil supplement, collagen & biotin to help out.
There are probably more, but that's what I could think of right off. I hope it helps! 😊

I lose alot on shampoo day 😭 thankfully it's a normal amount for me personally but that's every 3-4 days which is most optimal for me. I gave up trying to get the hairs out by brushing alot before shampooing and now I just untangle and run a wide tooth shower comb through in the shower to collect the hair out while it's lubricated and lump my hair up that way to keep track of my fallout. That also saves my drain from forming a hair monster. The day I realized nobody can run their fingers through their hair without loose hair going with them was quite sad indeed, but I was glad that it wasn't just me. 🤣

Hairstylist here- most people lose 150-250 hairs a day so losing some when you shampoo is normal and healthy! If you have thick or curly hair and don't shampoo often, you might have more come out on wash day, but it's cuz you have a few days worth of hair coming out, so don't freak out if you count more than 68! 😅

fun fact, you’re not supposed to condition your scalp, it can cause grease to occur before it would have if you only do it on your ends (hold it in one hand in a pony and put conditioner on the tail!

I can't count the hair that falls out individually 😂 my hair is naturally curly tho so it doesn't slide out during the day, it all waits until I'm brushing/washing. I also don't brush my hair often due to the curls. It's literally hairbrushes full of hair that I remove every day, and yet my hair is so thick and long it never ever makes a dent in how much there is. I wish it did 😅😅
