Should mention that they can drift such that they dodge the dash attack but still grab the ledge. It's very difficult to do, but definitely possible.

Leffen's edgeguards are sexy
Armada probably has the best Fox on Fox edgeguards, but Leffen is definitely better overall. He reverse Edgeguarded Puff with the craziest shine ever, nuff said

A spacie falling after a high up B can space around Falco dash attack. I've lost a set after a Fox got around dash attack, grabbed edge, got up and shine spiked me.
Mango's edgeguard with both spacies are super good. But I think his Falco is better.

PPMD. I dont know if it counts since he has yet to return but his way of applying pressure at the ledge to edgeguard differentiated him from every other falco IMO.

Armada shine, run off shine ta bair, ledge grab invincible low bair, cover high with anything. All very fast and difficult options but i still think its reasonable to be able to do with some practice

He can edgeguard with dash attack too, it doesn't hit as low as spacies, but works well on a lot of characters, including spacies sometimes

timing your up-b to prevent from being shine spiked doesn't really work. If someone up-b's very low, it would take let's say 10 frames more before the up-b actually initiates. The person shinespiking also needs to fall lower which will also take about 10 frames extra. That's why it usually doesn't matter how low someone falls. imo it's even easier to shinespike someone that falls lower because you have the opportunity to fast fall and make your shinespike more precise.

the solution: get gud
ehh... even if you get good at the game you're still going to get shine spiked, a better solution imo is learning to accept it and learning to be able to move on when it happens (basically not getting super tilted)
I know, but there are ways to play around it. I sometimes throw in a random counter as marth in that situation. Idk how to get around it for anyone else since I don't use anyone else. But yeah, shine spikes are godlike.
