The GS turned out to be the best bargain of the midsize luxury sedans. It’s far more reliable than any from the other side of the Atlantic and it is even better than the Infiniti G35 ( now Q50). The GS has the balance between price, luxury, technology, reliability and quality.

This is such a well made car that you could possibly pass it down to several generations of family members before it would finally die! Our GS350 has only visited the dealer once for warranty repair in the 100k miles that we have owned it. My German cars on the other hand have needed thousands in repairs well before 100k miles. From a quality standpoint our Lexus makes my Porsche and BMW look like a cheap Chinese toy.
For everyone complaining about the sound generator, the sounds it makes aren't fake, they come from the engine. The car with FAKE engine sounds is the new M5 that plays recorded sounds through the stereo.

Depends on the mileage and condition. Also depends what model you are trying to buy. The base model, luxury package or Fsport package. I bought the luxury package because I felt it suited my needs better and I still have the adaptable suspension. I paid $31,995 for my GS luxury package with 30,925 on the odometer last year January. It was a really good deal. The car was $61,000 brand new. But to answer your question the base models are usually around 23- 25 thousand the luxury is about 25- 30 thousand and the f sports tend to always hold a higher value so they usually go for 30- 37 thousand. If you buy from a lexus dealer the cost will be on the higher side because they refurbish the car. I bought mine from a porsche dealership.
