As a current proud owner of a 2015 GS F-Sport that just clocked in 75k miles it's hands down the most reliable, drama free, fun and best handling sports sedan I've owned. And I've owned both a 2002 BMW e46 and 2003 e39 and this is by far the only Japanese vehicle that reminds me of those old school German bank vault quality fit and finish and handling without all the maintenance and money pit drama of BMW cars. In fact my GS has been so reliable and dependable in my 7 years of ownership all I've done is routine maintenance. Sadly now that's it's been discontinued, I will be keeping this classic beauty for the long haul, as sedans like this are no longer been built today and the naturally aspirated v6 is a bullet proof engine. Love this car so much and get allot of joy driving it and because so few are on the road today, I get thumbs up and nods all the time on the road. The craziest thing last year during the height of the insane used car market, I was offered nearly 70% of what I paid for my now 7 year old car!!! I declined his offer and don't regret it one bit.

I couldn’t have said it better myself. My gs drives just like my older e60 5 series (I6) just even better. Wherever you point it to, it goes, and it never argues. The moment I test drove my car I noted how it reminded me of older BMW’s in terms of driving characteristics. I’ll still pick up another BMW in the future. But I will not be getting rid of the gs.

It's 2024 and I'm still looking for a 2013 GS 350 which will be my 1st Lexus ever 🎉😊 I had a 2014 Audi A7 and it's amazing the GS has all the amenities as the Audi, but got rid of it cause repairs was going cost $13k 😮 and that wasn't even the dealership, so I will forever be a Lexus for luxury man classic vehicle

I have an older ‘08 GS460 and I can’t imagine having anything else. I had to fly to Atlanta from DC to get it. V8 power, 8 speed trans, adjustable suspension, cooled seats are some of my favorites. And it’s built so solidly! I feel incredibly safe and have so much peace of mind. Had it for 2 years so far, driven 25k miles and has never let me down.

Such a shame Lexus discontinued the car, but also a blessing for any GSF owner since the car holds its value even better than a house.

    My 2015 GS350 F-Sport just hit 100k miles... Bought it used for $22k in 2020 (pre-pandemic) at 75k miles.
As a mid-20s car enthusiast, I still smile every single time I see it, step on the gas, etc...
With the Mark Levinson installed, it also fulfills my music needs!
Recently threw on a Borla exhaust as well and it sounds like its meant to sound for a V6 sport sedan.

I drove a 1998 Lexus ES 300 for years and loved that car but wanted an upgrade. After months of research I decided to test drive a 2014 Lexus IS 250 & 2013 Lexus GS 350. The IS was too cramped inside. The GS was perfect! I test drove 2 GS's from different dealerships and couldn't get myself to pull the trigger. Then I watched your "2013 Lexus GS 350....250k Miles Later" video and it helped me make the final decision to buy one! I found a 2013 Lexus GS 350 including Luxury package with Sport + mode & all the interior colors I wanted! The dealership was a little over 2 hours away but was totally worth the trip. I've had the car for 2 years now and love it! Still miss my old 98 ES 300 tho.. lol So thanks to you, I am driving a bad ass vehicle!!

That's funny, I too, moved up from a 2001 es300. I miss the real wood and leather in the es as new cars use that perforated fake leather but I do welcome the rear blinder and hwqted/cooled front seats and back up camera and standard cup holders. God, I hated the flimsy cup holders in the es that pull out behind the shifter. They don't hold anything!

Some might find it gimmicky but living in northern MN having a car with heated seats, heated steering wheel, heated mirrors, and AWD really helps survive the winters. Back in 2016 I surprised my wife and had a GS built as a wedding anniversary gift. It took about 4 months to get the car which arrived ONE DAY prior to our wedding anniversary. It's a 2016 Atomic Silver GS350 AWD. I opted for the Luxury Package instead of the F-Sport. I went with the luxury package because the package added a wood steering wheel, memory seat for both the passenger and the driver, radio and climate controls in the rear armrest, upgraded leather interior, and 19" wheels. The car currently has 58K miles on it and my wife loves it!! It has been a great vehicle!!

2015 Luxury package here. One thing that I appreciate, and that I haven’t seen anyone, anywhere talk about is that this model (Lux pkg) has the Sport Plus mode WITH an adjustment in steering along with the suspension. I love that the steering tightens up (suspension is nice too!). This car has 19” stock wheels in bright silver-and the local tire shop says they’re staggered (tires definitely are).
At the moment mine is at the dealership body shop as my friend backed into the grill in his Vanagon. I’m 2 months into driving a rental 5.0 GT convertible mustang (2021). Yes, it is much faster-but I like the GS so much more. The Stang power needs space to utilize-a straight, dry road-my RWD GS power is less-but more usable. And every single thing about the GS is three times as nice! (Former Focus ST owner here-so I love FORD)
Anyway that is all. Great video about a great car. FWIW, I got mine in excellent shape in Portland, OR fall of 21 with 42k on the clock for $31,500. So much car for the money…

I’ve owned a 2015 GS350 AWD for the last 3 years. Got it with 30k miles and it has 85k now. Has been pretty reliable for me. The only things that have gone wrong for me have been the sunroof wobbling around on bumpy roads but I got that fixed under extended warranty, the sunroof motor burnt out around the same time and my secondary 02 sensors failed but other than that… bulletproof. Oil changes every 5,000 miles(my preference) I put on yokohama sport
a/s+ the week I got it and I still have them on with about 4/32nds left on the tread. Very comfortable ride and surprisingly fast. I have countless videos( I can send them) of me beating similar cars and cars that are supposed to be faster, Q50, G37, A5, ATS, C350, Challenger RT, they’re all AWD besides the RT , and one time I beat a Porsche Caymen 718(base model) but I also had my girlfriend in the car so maybe he let me win. Overall I recommend this ride if you’re looking in this class of car, it has a price in everything you’re looking for whereas other models will be more sporty or more luxury, the GS has it all PLUS the reliability

Something that was not mentioned was that the 2013 to 2015 GS had the 2GR-FSE engine whereas the 16 and up had the 2GR-FKS which is the updated engine. The newer engine is smoother and quieter than the previous ones.

I love my RWD 2019 GS 350 F Sport. Coming from a 2011 GS 350 (also RWD) , I was shocked at how sporty its handling is compared to the previous gen. Plus with the rare HUD display, Mark Levinson sound system, and other tech features like auto high beams, brake hold, power trunk, dynamic cruise control, I simply love this car even more than my old 2011 GS, which I loved too. Only drawback is interior design and some of the mixing of materials you’ll notice in the 4th gen. GS after living with the car for a while. I simply can’t believe Lexus put cheap plastic trim panels in the F Sport vs something like real carbon fiber or brushed metal. I honestly hate it but will be replacing them soon with either real open-pore dark ash wood trim or a high-quality carbon fiber. Other than that - love this gen. GS. Truly an underrated vehicle in the mid-sized luxury sports sedan segment.

I went to Long Island for 12 hours in 2020 on July 4th to try and find one of these with the right color pattern, low miles, and I almost gave up. Its almost impossible to find one with the ultra luxury package, but I did right after I came back in the right color and fully loaded. It has Sport + mode without low profile tires in the F sports, The ultra Luxury package is better to me, giving it 5 driving modes with a softer ride (snow, eco, normal, sport, sport +) got it for 23k, and its worth 30k, 3 years later. I had a 03 BMW 330XI before, and loved that but not the money it took to maintain it. Nothing has broken on the Lexus at all, I miss the driving experience of the BMW.

I own GS 450h 2013. The Mileage was 150k km when i bought it. Its a gentle gaint of a car. The previous owner had all the features he could get. What most people dont know due to hybrid technology the breaks seldom have to be changed. The car has three different modes and all of them actually perform with unique driving. I am amazed how beautiful this car is from inside. Its a unicorn. 😂

I have GS450h f-sport 2013 for 2 years and its really briliant car. I sold original 19 " wheels and bought lighter 18" wheels and overal driving quality and comfort is now even higher. Just my one recommendation is to keep the original wheel nuts torque spec because front rotors are sensitive to this and if its the torque higher then OEM spec you warp the rotors like I did (no racing, just normal driving). Otherwise the traction battery is after 135 000 km still like new and with proper oil maintenance the engine lasts forever ......
