Good stuff. Try this next time: while running towards the Tram station/Cryogenics from the bridge, you'll find a room that's completely sealed off and inaccessible to get in, even if you try picking up the barricades with Kinesis or otherwise. There's many visible server towers through the window, though the interior room isn't fully visible. While you can't see her; this is the room that Kendra Daniels barricaded herself in for the majority of the game/plot. "..I've barricaded myself in the computer Core. I don't think they know I'm here..." -Kendra Daniels (EDIT): This computer core room is seen, regardless, after Mercer is taken, as Isaac is right beside it after the flesh-tentacle grabs and pulls him.
Thanks :) And that's really interesting to think about! I've noticed that room, and always wondered about it. I never made the connection that it could be that room where Kendra mentions taking shelter 😮 You've got a really good eye for details and the lore/events that take place throughout!
@@DanTheManPSFan Aaaw, thanks. On another note? How Kendra Daniels barricaded the server room with THAT much furniture and crates, no kinesis, is COMPLETELY beyond me! Lol.
What makes necromorphs so interesting is that unlike other mutated undeads where the bio organic weapon is the results of mutation, necromorphs bio organic weapon are made from host completely repurposed organs and they have biological impossible body,as they can even survive without oxygen and in space.undeads like zombie had some semblance of life whereas necromorphs are both living and dead, this can be seen in the early twitcher design where the host rig unit showed a 1% red color, which mean he or she is near death.zombies are people infected by virus and they had to be alive in most cases where necromorph are created by marker's signal using dead corpses and infect a living being through on infector.zombies are most times infected whose sole goal is just to spread the virus whereas necromorphs are biological living-dead puppets of markers signal that infect living and dead for the marker to trigger a convergence event, creating a brethrens moon.most virus change just infect the host and changes their dna turning them into zombies, markers signal however changes the dead host biological structure at the cellular or even molecular level the process causes body to go into self destructive overdrive, creating tremendous heat which boils away host stagnant blood also almot instantly repurposed the organs within some seconds and reanimating them.overall necromorphs are one of the best horror infected in the horror game franchise
Those are a lot of good points that you bring up! :) I agree that the Necromorphs are some of the best enemies in Horror games! They have some really amazing designs, and the concept behind them makes them more horrifying than most other monsters/zombies. Seeing the Human form twisted in such grotesque ways is what makes Necromorphs so memorable and interesting to me 😄

@@jerelaaksonen6040 Thanks a lot, that is nice to hear! I also didn't expect the whispers to have so much variation. It is pretty cool how many different ones you can hear! I still have a lot of interesting ones recorded, that I will be uploading when I can :)
I was too on edge to ever really decipher what was being said during my playthrough, but damn, even without knowing what exactly was being said, I got chills every time I heard a whisper. It's almost even creepier not knowing what's being said, but *knowing* that something is, in fact, being said. I've never been more scared by a game's atmosphere before!
I know the feeling haha, and yeah it is really eerie thinking that things are being said even when you can't make out exactly what's being said. I didn't show any in this video, but I've also found some whispers that were impossible to understand until I played them in reverse, which was extra chilling for me to realize 😱 I think they did such a great job with the sound design and atmosphere, and it's also the scariest atmosphere I've experienced in gaming too :)
My thoughts exactly! There's an inherent sort of feeling of dread that comes over you. I think it might be an example of your imagination making things worse, similar to how you start seeing things in the dark that aren't there, whereas here, it gets your mind frantically trying to understand what's being said and you end up hearing God knows what haha. I watched your videos on the reversed audio! That's crazy to me, it's little details like that that show how much care was put into this game, and I'm glad you took the time to showcase that. It's definitely the scariest game I've personally ever played.
What's weird is that it's highly unlikely for Isaac to know any of this information (of what was said in these areas during the outbreak) to cause such hallucinations. Isaac could go the entire game without reading a single text or audio log, but could still possibly hear these. You could suggest that maybe Isaac could have picked up some medical words through interactions with Nicole, but I doubt she would use such terminology in casual. This could suggest that there's more to what the markers can do than what we already know, or I'm just reading too much into this.
Yeah! It's really interesting to think about :) I think the Marker conveys a lot of messages, even if they are not exactly comprehensible to the person. For example, there are several hallucinations that can only be understood when you reverse the audio, which I think is a really cool and eerie detail! 😄
I had no clue there was this much little detail the first time I played the remake, ty for these vids! Also, have you looked at the game Darkwood? I feel like it's something you'd enjoy given the disturbing style of it all.
Yeah, I'm still constantly being surprised myself, by all the intricate details in the Dead Space remake! I'm glad if you enjoy these videos, thanks for watching and for your nice comment :) I have played Darkwood a little bit, and the style was really cool! But I forget why I stopped playing. I think I just had a lot going on when I tried to play it, and also got distracted by other games. It was also kind of difficult, at least for me 😅 But maybe I will give it another go when I find time, I do think I would enjoy playing it
