Thanks for making these. Only recently got the game, been on it non stop. Love learning more about the world and its history im spending so much time in. Keep it up mate 👍 good stuff!
I envy you! If only I could start again all fresh. I do suggest stopping where you are and do the first two games though. Not that you need to but because you probably will play them after so best to play them in order.
Master witcher I wish to know...what are those things which could be seen flying over toussaint during the attack of the vampires when actually detlaff declared war on toussaint, could those be plummards?
I think Orianna is a high vampire. Trailer came out before the finally decide she would be one I think. That's why she is depicted as Bruxa in the trailer. Also great content!
What about those big man-bats that fly above Toussaint during the vampire attack on the city ? No one ever talks about those , they’re completely unique to that scene . Make a video about those
It is confirmed by Regis somewhere in Hearts of Stone that the vampires all have names, and since we know Sarasti is a bit of an older vampire, the idiot humans who discovered his hiding hole probably knew he was down in that region but didn't know exactly where, vampires don't give out knowledge of their hidey holes to ANYONE. Sarasti was trying to do the 'hide and heal' stuff when he was found, even higher vampires require extended 'down time' to fully recuperate after losing a limb or more.
Recently got this game for the switch so I can take it anywhere! Besides that, recently subscribed and have been loving binging your content. Keep it up!
Trevor Santana I was thinking about getting it too but was worried about the battery life on the switch. About how long does it last for you while playing this?
Just found this channel! Playing the trilogy myself at the moment so this is a great source of information. This channel will be great to explore as I make my way through the games and watch the upcoming show...
I'd probably say that the difference between a lesser and a higher can be boiled down to Intelligence, sentience. Can the vampire in question say "I think, therefore I am"? If not, then it is a Lesser Vampire.
There’s also the issue of resilience, strength, and regeneration. Which the higher Vampires possess in spades, as they outclass even the physically strongest of the various lesser vampire species.
i cant see any vampire species needing to feed on human blood specifically, i mean, they all came from different worlds, hows a vampire, a creature from a world with no humans, gonna survive in the world they came from if they dont have humans to feed on if they need human blood exclusively to survive?
Doesnt have to be human. But human blood tastes best. Which is why every kind of vampire craves it especially lesser vampires who do not have impulse control. This is the exact reason higher vampires came to this world through during the Conjunction of spheres and decided to stay. Because this world contained a large resource of addictive human blood. But we see later higher vampires regretting this decision. And the only ones who live long during the story, are the ones who actively ignore their impulses.
Ali Idris yeah i know, but im assuming there was a part of the video that said, or at least implied, that one or a few of the vampire species feeds specifically on human blood only as if they needed it to survive (edit: i say "im assuming" because ive slept since i made this comment and i dont know what part of the video it was at or what exactly was said)
would have been cool if they added the plumards in the unseen elders cave, but it would be hard to make them feel unique and we'd basically just have some harpies that just got out from their 4th round in chemo
Can you please do an analysis video on the Witcher Netflix trailer, I know it’s not your channel’s main focus but I think the TV show looks good based off what we saw. No glitching roach tho :(
Some people only consider vampires like Regis or Orianna higher vampires and all the other types lesser vampires, even alps and everything else. But Hubert claims he's a higher vampire and then turns into a katakan and many people are confused for that. I guess CDPR used a katakan for his beast form and not a unique beast form like Regis or Dettlaff.
I forgot about that, when I said higher vampires I meant the one that can turn into a human form like Regis and Dettlaff. Technically Orianna can do it too but the trailer shows she's a bruxa, wich makes things more confussing.
What if they are like apes for vampires like they share a common ancester. This will explain their low intelligence compared to the evolved higher vampires.
Witcher george...u put out excellent witcher videos...seems ya focus more on the game's then the books...i myself only have the games experience and the netflix show now to lean on....i have done research online about the books....i would love to read them but just havent had the chance....i 1st have purchase them before i can read them...allegedly the show follows the books and not the gamrs although there have been a couple lil nods towards the games in the premiere season of the witcher on netflix...at least i felt like they made some nods at the games...the witcher is def 1 of my top 3 fav video game franchises...along with the elder scrolls and the rockstar red dead games...i have played my witcher 3: wild hunt complete edition like 3 or 4 times...the main game and both DLCs....u should have more followers than ya do...but then again u offer factual knowledge in your content not fan theories and "leaks"...i believe the witcher will take the spot game of thrones has left and with netflix and their original programming track record...the witcher show will be shown and stort told a lot better than what we got...well especially season 5 and on from GOT...i do kinda wish they woulda made triss a red head like the games in the show....instead they cast a great actress...and her hair color is closer to how it is in the books...i woulda just liked the variety....so honestly thats my only thing i have to pick at the wticher show so far....simply that i would rather triss have her red hair like in thr games...aside from that it is a great game...show...and im told the books r excellent...i cant say i know they r...but someday i will get to read them...for now i jist have the internet and what people tell me about the books....excellent video as always man
Kind of wish there was some Castlevania reference or Easter egg in Blood & Wine. Maybe just something like a journal in which someone describes his hunting of a vampire and the name at the end of the journal is the name of S. Belmont or something.
1:50 Lesser Vampires could be equated to large mosquitos but not ticks or leeches(ticks and leeches attach parasitically rather than bite and run/fly. They all eat the same which is a good source of food since blood contains what digestive systems doesn't consider garbage and ends up something you don't want to step in, blood contains and delivers the nutrients eaten to all cells throughout the body along with oxygen). They use blood for sustenance rather than the flesh and maybe in the world they came from their prey would have considered them to be no more than a mosquito and were too large to get through the conjunction of spheres and thus are unknown. Interesting thought, is a fleder dangerous in it's native environment or something that gets swatted and splatted on the ankle of some rather large thing...
We know where higher vampire come from, they’re actually a separate species, but the lesser vampires can infect people and turn them into lesser vampire who share the same blood as the highers? How the fuck does that work? Can higher vampire infect others with vampirism?... Could a Witcher use the higher vampire blood to create vampire Witcher’s?............ what about gold dragons since they’re magically blooded, and unicorns for the same reason.... hell the reason the Witcher’s are so powerful is they use the eldar blood who can teleport between dimensions...... unicorns do that innately and have so much more magic than the eldar!
i didnt know regis could transform like dettlaff (the monster form) then i've read the story of regis death and then was playing gwent and saw regis bat form. so every high vampire migh look different in their "primal" form?
They're not canon but some take place after the third game and some main characters apear there. It's a nice continuation, like a new small adventure. Others take place before the third game and other are not know. They're good, House of Glass is probably my favorite.
@@Witcherino cool will have to check them out. I loved listening to the audio books. They are actually on TH-cam. The narrator is on point but the quality is a little underwhelming but still worth it.
Vampires have got to be one of my favourite parts of the witcher universe, I just love how interesting and different they are.
The Witcher has by far the best take on vampires in my opinion out of every fantasy book or tv show.
These are high quality and you can tell how much you love making them keep on keeping on

a lot of lesser vampires can turn into bats i think
I heard somewhere that those were bruxae, that had turned in to large bats

The description of the Plumard Gwent Card states that alone, Plumards pose little to no threat and that they are mostly pack creatures.

@Witcherino it all has to do with age if a katakan or bruxae are old enough there powers and intelligence Excell over centuries of survival

Moon/Noon wraith. Hard to kill something you can’t hit.
Golden dragon
Since bruxa can be intelligent like higher vampires

Ekimaras were a close to Katakans species wize
Like Homo Sapeins and Neanderthals
