Its good for them I'll bet,if you got a pampered purse puppy you wouldn't know about it,but dogs, especially big strong dogs LIVE to work hard to make their friend happy. In fact many of these dogs were bred specifically to do just this.

If you ever owned one of these breeds(bully specifically) you'd know they require intense activity and thrive on it. Not all of course but it's pretty common among the bully breeds that were literally bred for sport.

I think this is a great thing to take away from dog fighting. Dogs seem to like it, and its not bad like dog fighting. I have a Pit, would I do this with her?, prob not but if she liked it I would let her. Fact is people are going to use these type dogs in sport, and this is better than dog fighting which is degusting.

I suggest you educate yourself on the breed before you make public statements like the one you just made if it wasn't for dogfighting there wouldn't be a pitbull, the old-timers never wanted the breed to go public they were afraid people would start breeding for big heads and just color and not test gameness or physical ability hence the American Bully

"What is this?! Dogs belong on the lounge room floor, fat, flat unchallenged and unfulfilled."
This comment section is ridiculous. Internet Experts who assume these dog's are being tortured and the owners are ignorant..
what ever outlet it is all dogs deserve to have the opportunity to succeed at something. This is great. I have a cavoodle but she's fit as hell. this wouldn't be her thing but I've been looking for an outlet for to do for a while. We train a lot, considering agility. One day I'll get a bigger dog and if he wants to pull some weight I'll be encouraging it.

She looks very new to the sport. Part of the training and confidence-building is not asking them to haul extreme amounts of weight. She needs a lot more practice to build some confidence in the pulling style needed to keep the weights behind her moving safely and also keep herself on the track. Everyone has to start somewhere.

You can see that most of them like it and all of them seem to understand what's going on if they didn't they wouldn't pull in a straight line. Many dogs were bred to pull carts and what poeple don't seem to understand is that a lot of animals like to work and compete, have a purpose. I'd rather see an occasional injury than sitting in a kennel wasting away or getting fat.

my three week old Chihuahua can pull that little load no problem, she could probably pull it on an icy incline with about 15000 lbs using old rusty wheels, no track required just grit and paw sweat, she snorts gun powder and eats chocolate every day, healthiest dog I ever had, her mom was a racehorse to some midgets that used to live out back behind the creek, those fan midgets were everywhere until Barnum shut down, now they stay under the bridge, fucking trolls, anyway my cat could probably pull these light loads

ThisIsSolution well good news for you buddy, I've got a female Chihuahua wheels have been rusted out, pulling loads of 20 to 30,000 pounds uphill on the ice blindfolded Spun around three times is nothing to her she doesn't need gunpowder on her breakfast she has gunpowder for breakfast. She comes from a long line of protection and pit fighting Chihuahua's, a lot of her kin folks have been run on Hogg ,dear ,people ,cheetah ,really fast Jamaicans. You name it they've run it down. Very motivated to breed, small bit of paperwork and the usual 10,000,000$ fee and U2 could have a Chihuahua very soon

Mine isn’t even fully trained for weight pull but gets excited when I get out her harness, trotting around the house and howling until I put it on her and take her out.
A dog is only gonna truly give its full effort in pulling things if it likes what it’s doing. A dog afraid of its owner might pull alright, but they won’t have the same eagerness. It’s a good, ethical sport that puts the extreme drive of these dogs towards something they can enjoy.
Instead of being forced to fight in pits and being tortured and killed for loosing, they get to pull a weight around and get a lot of praise and encouragement from their owner.
