I had a mixed breed dog who was part greyhound and I thought he was fast until one time I saw a particularly tall pure bred at the beach. He trotted faster than most dogs can move full speed.

By the time we caught the 4th yote, my big wolfhound was tiring. The dales aren't as fast but they figured how to cut off the yote/ intercept it. Explosive! Grey's make Great coursers but can't hunt in cold, snow . Definitely miss running with him/ them. Dales run on the hot side, grey's love the heat. We caught some foxes alive. Used them to start pups. Nothing excessively stressfull to the foxes and by spring we released them in woods. They would have been killed in the city.

Many great hunts started because he wouldn't leave hus dogs boarded when he traveled. I'd seen saluki hunting in Africa but the grey's are a treat! Nothing like a 80 lb Chihuahua in your sleeping bag kicking you out. @@hangezoeandleviyoushort2742 Greyhounds need a lot of stimulation and physical exercise to stay in good health. Racing is actually good for them
@@itshahriar4595 well I did not know that, but I am a dog lover and some dogs in the race die or get hurt that what I heard
@@hangezoeandleviyoushort2742 dude, greyhounds love it. This is not even abuse, my greyhound gets so happy for a walk and for a race? He gets hella happy
@@iateyourfather92 I do not know that I don't have a greyhound and I have autism and I am in 9 grade, and I am a girl
The dog that finished 2nd ran one hell of a race. Easily the winner, if not for that hard bump, which sent it way outside. Bumped off his stride again, before moving into 2nd. Bravo!
#6 young and wild. Indeed the fastest with the full body extension looked like he was flying for a minute.
Pure black dog 2 number 👏👏
We love this in Berlin GERMANY ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇩🇪🇩🇪

I had a mixed breed dog who was part greyhound and I thought he was fast until one time I saw a particularly tall pure bred at the beach. He trotted faster than most dogs can move full speed.
I had a greyhound mix too. He was half lab half greyhound, great dog. He had the skinny ness of a greyhound and deep chest, and the ears, but his face look lab. He was cute and really fast, and very obedient, but I saw him compared to a real greyhound and yeah, it’s interesting how much taller they are.

Hello
Hello
The dog that came in second, I'd bet on him to win his next race for sure....that boy's a beast 😮
so the black one with the white stripes is actually the fastest if you watch, it just bumped into another dog and threw it off, then came from last to second. extremely impressive
True
I like this kind dogs 👍👍👍
Great job grayhounds🎉❤
Beautiful dogs. We love ours!!!!
Greyhound racing needs to be taken seriously and be broadcasted on tv I fell in love with greyhound racing just now it's the first time I saw this dog sport!🎉🎊
Glad to know you enjoy intelligent, sentient animals suffering for the sake of your entertainment. I hope you suffer the same way these poor dogs do.
congratulation blue dog 🥰 love you from Indonesia 🥰👋🏻🤝🏻🧕
This is actually a fun sport. Congrats to the winner, but we all know if number 6 had a different starting position, he/she would've taken 1st place.
congratulations no.2👏👏👏
Le 6 pas u de chance au départ, et en plus il les rattrapes , un vrai champion

Hi
Wow amizing dog #2 win nice job 🙏
For the Americans: that’s 0.298 miles in 28.1 seconds… an average of 38.2 mph. Holy hound dog!
I wonder what their top speed was, probably in the beginning of the race?
My hound had 1 win and 8 other podiums. He did 450m in 25.51 sec. Average speed of 65k/h. He was retired after 6 months, because has was the second worst out of the litter!
@@lexnouwens1894 Yeah, that's fast to average that, but your hounds top speed during the race was probably up to 45 mph or higher.
I love the video and the dogs 😊❤
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and share a love for the dogs. 😊🐾
The black one is a beast
Goodness gracious! Those are some supersonic dogs 🤯🤯🤯😲😲😲

I wish the Lake Geneva (WI) dog track was still open. I went to one of these when I was young and loved it. So amazing to watch these things run wide open!

These greyhounds are so cute🥰
Me wondering why the racers didn't stop after the finish line. Also me, they are dogs.
Nice race and I did miss the old time when I was 13 years old in 1985.
It's great to hear that you enjoyed the film Greyhound Racing. Nostalgia for the past can be a powerful sentiment, and it's understandable that you miss the old times when you were 13 years old in 1985. That was a different era, and many people have fond memories of their younger days. Films like Greyhound racing can sometimes evoke those nostalgic feelings and transport us back to earlier times. I hope you continue to enjoy films and find new experiences that bring you joy and nostalgia.
I wish to see owners of those dogs racing too😂
😂😂😂
😫😭😭stopp
Why? People can't run like greyhounds can. Greyhounds love to race.
i am really impressed by the dogs i hope one could come from kenya

I'm very fond of greyhounds. I had a freind whom sometimes coyote hunted with me, he had 2. I use airedales and a Welsh hound. The grey's even tried baying the yotes!
That sounds like quite the adventure with your greyhounds and other dogs! Fascinating to hear about their different hunting styles. Greyhounds truly are amazing animals.
@@JerseyGroovyFilms I got involved with grey rescue after visiting Spain. After the race season, they strangled the dogs by hanging in trees. Horrible!!And they say the higher they hang, the more honor to the dog. It made me sick. I brought 2 back and my buddy took them. He lived in desert. Many great hunts started because he wouldn't leave hus dogs boarded when he traveled. I'd seen saluki hunting in Africa but the grey's are a treat! I will always go with my dales since I hunt everything furred or feathered and they retrieve and herd too. His grey's crashed my hot tent and camped by my stove when a late storm hit us. Nothing like a 80 lb Chihuahua in your sleeping bag kicking you out. Again, the grey's definitely out speed the molosser type Welsh hound and worked well with the dales style of intercepting and baying. They are so sweet, I never knew these trackstars were great couch potatoes that turn into rockets
@@springfieldkakaruk2346 That's incredibly heart-wrenching about the treatment of greyhounds in Spain. Thank you for rescuing and giving them a better life. It sounds like you and your buddy have had some unforgettable adventures with your dogs. Greyhounds truly are versatile and amazing animals. Your story underscores the importance of compassion and action in the face of such cruelty. Keep up the good work, and give those pups an extra pat from me!
I truly hope if the dogs dont win the owners/handlers dont mistreat them 😭 The black one was super fast still came in at the final moments.
Thank you for your comment. I can assure you that the dogs in Greyhound racing are treated very well by their owners/handlers. Animal welfare is of utmost importance in any competitive dog event, and strict regulations are in place to ensure that all dogs are treated with care and respect. The handlers and owners of these dogs have a strong bond with them and consider them to be part of their family. The dogs are well-trained, well-fed, and given plenty of love and attention. As for the outcome of the race, it's always a matter of chance, but what's important is that all the dogs are given an equal opportunity to compete and enjoy themselves. The black dog was indeed very fast and gave a great performance
Bro those dogs legs when they walk i cant😂😂😂
