for the lazier partners, use a vegan (which most are) puffpastry/filo, cut it into triangles, roll them up (maybe put some vegan choc or vegan cheese on the insides of some), brush them with some mylk, bake them for however long your package says and VOILA - the best, easy, quick, delicious vegan croissants
PSA this also works as a treat for oneself because we don't need partners to treat us, we've got ourselves! much love to you all

Andrew making a vegan cake for Leah's birthday reminds me of me last month when I was stressing over baking a vegan lemon cake for my brother's birthday!! Lemme tell you, it is NOT easy!

For perfect croissants u need a loooooot of practice, I recommend trying the recipe from buttermilk pantys blog. Its not vegan but you can substitute with vegan butter and milk. I’ve made it lots of times and they turn out perfect!

Okay I'm sure i'm not the only person to think this so let it be known that Andrew is my polish comfort person.
I'm half polish and my polish side of the family, while it's kind of small, gives me a lot of anxiety. My mother's litterally an angel but, being a genderqueer lesbian, going to Poland is the most stressful thing I have to go through. My mum understands most of it and she has a lot of religious trauma from her childhood, but I feel like I can never be safe as myself in Poland. Andrew reminds me that kind and accepting polish people actually exist (i don't live in poland so my polish interactions are limited etc) and that there is hope for the future !
So thank you Andrew for giving us hope and spreading love
