I have yet to see a dud, Sandi, so keep up what you’re doing. This was a cute departure with you narration in between activities and telling on yourself. Hope you guys enjoyed date night - an important thing to do to reconnect.
I noticed that you’re drawing the vaccine with standard syringes. Have you seen the ‘vaccinators’ that allow you to mount the bottle on top. Then you set the amount & just go up the race injecting each animal. Saves a huge amount of time.
I totally just discovered your Vlogs and I have been watching them back to back to get caught up to date. FYI.. I LOVE THEM. I am not new to sheep, however always like to work on improvement. Would you mind sharing your entire annual vaccination schedule. Thanks
Increasing our sheep this year. I heard in one of your blogs that you were weaning your lambs at two months. I was wondering why you don't wean at three months especially because your sheep probably only lamb once a year. We are trying Dorpers and trying to lamb every 9 months. We will see. Anyhow is there a reason that you chose 60 days instead of 90. Thanks
Anyone has design sketches of sheep handling systems that I can build? In the place where I am there is no such systems in the local market and importing is not an option!
Iam salute ur passion because it's a toughest job done by these methods I am also doing at a domestic small scale level.Iam 100%interested with this and also my favourite. If u can guide me further information that will be most helpful thanks. From paradise" KASHMIR"
ChristophfromSchwiiz the feed bunks in the coverall are a concrete J-Bunk that was made at a pre-cast manufacturer called Stubbes here in Ontario. Across the road in the finishing barn the feeders are called 3-in-1 feeders I think they’re from Australia but there are some distributors in Ontario where I bought mine.
Hi my name is luke I have a question for you when you go to the life stock market to buy your sheep’s what do you look for in the sheep’s be for buying them ?
My handling system is a Marweld system made here in Ontario... This brand is retailed by many Ontario distributers but I bought mine from Brussels Agri Services.
Great question, and one I get all the time... I have about 3 auto syringes I have tried. Honestly, my only answer is I haven't found one I like using yet. They are so big and cumbersome I end up breaking needles, or finding myself in awkward positions with the unit itself that I'm never sure if I'm sub-Q, or IM or even accurate dosages. If anyone can recommend a good one, let me know!
Your vlogs are very informative, entertaining, and calming! I love them! TFS! HUGS 🤗

Just to give you a heads up The Clap is nickname for Gonorrhea!
Have you seen the Anti-back up for your lane. That may help you and not have so many guillotine gates and stream line your system a little more.
Happy 😊 Easter 🐣

Nice video - who make this handling system?
This system is made locally here in Ontario by a company called Marweld.
What kind of feeders are in your feeder barn, where did you find them?

Sandi Brock Thank You!
you don't shear the neck where you vaccinate? Isn't it harder to get the needle through the wool?
...🙂🙂🙂
I'M LOVE Sheep Handling System
their is so many kinds of farm animals how did you know sheep was right for you?
Great question! I think its an animal I grew to love... Definitely didn't plan to be a sheep farmer when I was in university! LOL
Hi my name is luke I have a question for you when you go to the life stock market to buy your sheep’s what do you look for in the sheep’s be for buying them ?
I dont think she buys from a market anymore. When she lambs, she picks particular ewe lambs to replenish her flock. The rest go to the market
SillyDillyLilly i think she might buy her rams however .
What was the handling system you used?
Looking at getting a handling system for my operation was wondering where you got yours from?
My handling system is a Marweld system made here in Ontario... This brand is retailed by many Ontario distributers but I bought mine from Brussels Agri Services.
It looks like it works like a dream
Also was wondering how come when you give the shot you don't use a auto syringe it would go faster then filling up a 12cc syringe multiple times
It works really well, much better than the old version, especially with the drop down side panels!

Can you make a shearing video ?🤙
Coming soon to a screen near you! LOL
