- Starting to feel a little overwhelmed this past weekend... and just when I think I've fixed a lingering issue, another seems to pop up.
I found a water detector sensor online and got it set up (and working!!) only to see a text from Carissa saying the ewes and lamb pen is UNDER WATER.
So a defeated me grabbed the telehandler and spent Sunday morning cleaning out their pen.
But I couldn't shake the questioning of how these plugs came out...
Monday I had an epiphany, and wondered if the LAMBS popped the plug out. So I decided to build a box to act as sort of a barrier around the water bowl.
Feeling really proud, I shared with Instagram only to be told the million things I didn't do right.
Anyway, I think this will work... and at the end of the day, if we have no more floods, I'LL BE A HAPPY GIRL!
Jack was also home this weekend helping in the merch room. We are experimenting now with a different shipping app called ShipStation to go along with our Shopify to hopefully make the shipping process more accurate.

Amen! I've also heard the negative people being called "armchair quarterbacks." They cause havoc to try and get under a person's skin as it must bring them 'joy' to do so. As I wrote in my post, being in person vs. on a camera recording, is completely different. Blessings from Alabama ❤️
I would bet money that the people who commented about lambs breaking their legs, don't 1. Own any sheep 2. Have never seen the inside of a barn and 3. Don't have a clue about animal behavior. Sandi, you're the expert. Trust your gut! I do think it was an ingenious idea!!!! Good on you❤

When you put your life “out there” for all the world to see AND choose to get paid to do so, then you open yourself up to being critiqued. Good, bad, or ugly, that’s just life.
I realize they aren’t citizens of the USA, but many of their viewers are; and that means we’re used to exercising our 1st Amendment right to free speech. Last I checked, that means you’re free to speak what’s on your mind. I’m of an age where men were men and women were women, and children weren’t allowed to speak and act disrespectfully to ANY adult, especially their parents - a time that’s very different from the degraded society we live in today. That just means that I, for one, have very little tolerance or sympathy with people who refuse to grow up and stop being so self-centered. I’m NOT saying that’s how I view Sandi. I actually have great respect for her work and life values in general. I AM saying that she’d fare much better if she didn’t let the comments she perceives as negative get to her. I think men hate to see their women cry. I have a husband like that too. He would do anything for me. I myself am going through a thing with my mother and it makes me cry. He listened to me even though he didn't want to get involved. Which helped me get through to make myself feel better.

Just since Monday I have been taking care of my mother because she underwent 2 stint surgeries for her heart and she yelled at me for just trying to help her through and I had to leave after I got her home when she yelled again. So that made me cry on my way home. So I called my brother and he listened and talked to me about it until I got close to home. So there is relief when you need it most.

Sandi, it’s because I watch you, capable of doing so much, that encourages me at my much older age, to do as many repairs around the house as I do. I’ve even completely taken a clothes dryer apart when it wasn’t working.
