The Pohl Barn Productions at 17:14 in this video You can see the Star of David ✡️ in the bottom of the bowl, crazy cool 😎 God bless you in Jesus name. I Believe that you have a good heart a faithful Hart. King David wasn’t a perfect man but God said he is a man after my own heart and I believe that is in your character, whether you love the Lord or not I believe he’s saying you have some of The same character traits as David. Even when he did wrong and realized it or called out on it he quickly turned and repented and got right back on track doing what was right and righteous and pleasing to the Lord an amazing man I hope this word blesses you for God is speaking all the time and I bebelieve he speaking to you.
I'm at the point where I hit the like button before I've even watched the video, anyone else? Because let's be honest, already know I'm going to love the end result, always do! Amazing as always!!!!!
I can't stop watching these, and I am not a craftsman. I just love watching skilled hands creating art. Your laugh makes these even better. That bowl is beautiful.
I love the bowl Doug. It turned out beautifully. Purple is my favorite color and I was anxious to see a purple bowl but this bowl was just perfect as it was... You could see all the little cracks in the wood perfectly.. the resin seeped through wonderfully. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.
Im not sure why I havent seen this until now. I do love this bowl, even if it didnt turn purple on the top. Its purple, nice and dark where it soaked into the punky part. It gave it a very nice effect. Its PRETTY!! I like the ice blue rim too! Thanks Doug for sharing.
That is absolutely beautiful. I am awestruck that two hands, some resin and a bit of sanding grit can transform a hunk of unusable wood into something so truly fine. Keep doing it and I'll keep watching!
Love it when you make yourself laugh. It's a lost personality traits to be blessed with. But you still got it. And your artwork is exceptionally brilliant!!
Doug as usual the bowl you are making is awesome and stunning. The grain in that wood is breathtakingly beautiful and the blue is awesome it fits the bowl.
Hi Doug. Stunning bowl! I was amazed to find it was available, no, STILL available, on your Etsy store. WAS being the operative word, I bought it. I recently acquired some Chinaberry from a friend and fellow club member so I searched for examples and this is indeed a beautiful piece of art. I will treasure it always...
Stunning!! It's absolutely gorgeous and I could see it on a counter with fruit, in a craft room with balls of yarn...... it's just beautiful and would look spectacular in any of HGTV, shows that I watch, finished rooms. #Propertybrothers, #GoodBones, #LoveitorListit
I always look forward to your videos Doug. Your work is absolutely amazing and you ARE an inspiration to many. I just started turning and watching you helps me immensely!! Thanks for sharing your talents!
looks great Doug, yea you do inspire many no doubt,I'll give you credit,,,yr the one who made me jump off the post and start pen turning ty,it was the princess pen tbh,,i have 2 granddaughters so I had to,lol
It looks really cool. I like how it turned out. My husband and sons will occaisionally watch these with me. They like these videos too. And the stuff you make! 😊
Beautiful piece and work! All the other wood turning channels I subscribe to recently did something encased in resin which I found boring but you created a beautiful piece that was interesting to watch. I was excited to see a purple bowl, but it still turned out wonderful.
Chinaberry blue is a real color! It's the color of the sky in Southern California in January when the white chinaberries are hanging in the trees. Such a blue, blue sky! Most of the year the sky is pale.
Am I the only one that finds it oddly satisfying watching those resin ribbons covering everything (even ears) and cameras?? That’s my favorite part honestly other than the finished product.
i think that it was a very beautiful blue..........and also i think that sometimes colors can morph or change on you under certain conditions and in certain mediums................but that purple really gave a beautiful blue..........very pretty and very unique
You're a wood turning wizard, that's why the purple turned blue =p it looks absolutely beautiful even though it didn't go purple! I actually think the blue provides more contrast than the purple would have, it was meant to be! ^-^ I love how you laugh so much and how positive you are even when things don't go to plan ^-^
You do quality work and I like your aesthetic decisions. Videos are a tad long but you don't clutter them up with music or too much crap. Keep doing cool stuff! Love all the resin work.
Simply very beautiful as every other project you did so far. I am too lazy to write the same message of prize and admiration for your products, but believe me every one of them are beautiful beyond description. Best wishes from Berlin, Germany.
It really turned out pretty cool. I think the color is nice even though it's not what you were aiming for. I thought oh dear, it's going to be PURPLE with as much dye as you put in but alas....haha. I like how the shimmery stuff took to the edge of the wood though. Keep cool, it's to be a warm weekend!
Chinaberry can produce some spectacular pieces , I lucked into an entire tree's worth of it recently - tho its a bit difficult to finish because its just not as dense as other woods we generally turn , hence the punkyness you describe.
Thank you, yes it a weird wood to work with, it's hard and soft all at the same time. Awesome you have gotten your hands on some, this was my last piece of it.
It seems like a lot of your stuff doesn't turn out the way you expected. But regardless they mostly turn out very well. This is no exception. The chinaberry is beautiful and the resin if not purple is still very nice. I say this is a winner. Thank you for sharing.
This popped up so I assumed it was a new one. It wasn’t until I saw the 2019 on the bottom that I realized it’s an old one🙄 I wondered how you were hot in the garage but there had just been an ice storm🤣 It was still fun to watch!
Its gorgeous... I love the color. Bob Ross used to say, "there are no mistakes....just happy accidents."
Thank you

I really like this one, especially around the rim. Even though it's not purple, it still turned out a pretty color.
Thank you Lacy

That’s funny my grandmother had a chinaberry tree growing in the front yard for decades . The berries are yellow;) . That turquoise bowl is gorgeous
Thank you, we've all seen one some place we just didn't know what it was. yellow or orange berries I have seen on them.
I Never see the vision till it’s done, so pretty. Glad you know what your doing, ha!
Thank You Sharann, it's more of a direction than a vision,
That is really nice. I like how the resin makes stuff look amazing. Great work. 👍👍✌️
Thank you very much Matt!
Thats what you call a happy mistake! I love the shape of the bowl, and im going to have to steal that design! lol

Thank you Don.... I'll get it out First thing Monday, it's weird to turn, it's both hard and soft at the same time.
At first I thought the color would be very contrasting, but the drop on the table brought my fantasy back to reality. GooD)))))))
Thank you, LOL
Well done, turned out beautiful, great grain, and the resin completes it. 👍🏻👏👏
