Thank you I already changed my oil but I was going crazy because everyone said that the drain plug was on the driver side. But apparently the drain plug for the coupe model of the W205 is on the passenger side. I knew it was engine oil when I drained it but TH-cam videos can certainly be misleading. Thanks for the confirmation I might not have slept tonight and I not found your video.
Bruhh this shit much more simpler than I thought the hardest part doing it on ur own would be getting that cover off to drain the oil 😭
After you take it off make a whole in the pant for easy access next time
Just did my oil, and replaced all air filters my engine intake where the filter is connected to was in the way so I had to take that out to but it ended up working out cause I was replacing the filter either way😭😮💨 thanks just came back to let you know thank you!!!🤙🏽🤙🏽💯🔥
Good video. MB could simply have designed an access cover or opening in the underbody panel to avoid having to take the whole thing off😮.

Just a tip. Don't remove the oil cap until you are ready to extract or fill.

Most of the labour is removing the plastics covers underneath hood and under the car
At my VIN card have:
13A OIL OFFSET AMOUNT +1300 ML OIL
What does that actually mean?
How much oil should be added 8l or 8+1.3=9l?

That is a "simple oil change"?😬 Means why? It is the same thing as any other car but you have to open up so many things to "get to it".😲
I just cut a hole in that bottom pan, now easy to drain the oil.. dont be stupid.

@Deziah Gonzalez it's dead simple. Just take your time and watch the video properly. Buy the tool. Just one for the oil filter, then get the service kit and you're good to go

Can you cut a hole right around the oil pan to make quick access to the oil plug? Then you can cut a piece of similar plastic and use 4 push retainer clips to secure it?
Yea you can .. and leave hole there nothing will happen .. maybe I’ll make one of those videos in my friends car how to cut that hole 🤘

I figured it wouldn't be bad to do that. Changing the oil on a MB is crazy easy, if you don't have to remove the plastic protector underneath. It is easier than my Hondas.

Fill it to the max line
No need to remove the rear belly pan. Car takes approximate 6.0 qts. You don't want to overfill these.
oil capacity is in description it takes 7.4 quarts and 4matic takes 6.9 quarts
@@AutomotiveDysfunction you put 7.4 quarts in that little engine and let the car sit overnight and check it in the morning it will be way over filled. I change oil on these benz's every single day. Too much oil in that engine and a it gets nto the engine harness...huge problem.

@@ymmij1973 Dude, Mercedes has a Oil Dipstick unlike BMW. He got the oil level right. I probably would have complained about that huge plastic skid plate; Mercedes🤔
@@natelove187 there are a bunch of Mercedes that do not have dipsticks they also eliminated them in about 2005 to 2007. Which I honestly think is a bad idea a lot of customers like to check their oil level. Also makes it more time consuming for the technician when working on the vehicle. Currently right now very few mercedes have dipsticks anymore. Been working on these cars for 21 years. On another note this engine has a dipstick remove it before putting the oil in. If not the oil can back up into the PCV system if the oil is filled too quickly and start blowing smoke. I'm not necessarily saying you guys are wrong I'm just throwing out there what I've experienced from working on these cars. Most of the time when changing the oil not every single last drop is coming out of that engine and there's still residual oil in the engine.
