@@seeum2098 Yeah, the more simple, stuff I can handle. The engine work where he replaces camshafts and stuff is a little too intermediate or expert level for me.
a tip on the brake bleeding, you're gonna want to bleed all four calipers starting with the farthest from the brake master cylinder (where you pour in more fluid ) . to the closest . this way you get a complete flush .
Man, I’m new to your channel, but I’ve watched almost every amg vid you’ve made over the last two days. I’ve had a 2011 e63 amg for about a year and you’ve given me the confidence to actually do some work on it myself. I’ve worked on cars plenty of times, but this car is one of those that feels almost sacrilegious to even think about taking a wrench to. Keep up the awesome content!
I can tell you that service B from the dealership cost me $712-and that's with a $100 discount. Parts were $200 and change, but labor costs were over $400.
I watch these kinds of video every night before I go to sleep...don't know why this one never popped up...definitely a better video than alot of others that popped up before this one😏 smh
Thanks for taking the time to make this. I'm getting ready to do my Service B on my 2010 E63. And at the same time, I'm searching for my "air leak" in the Airmatic system. I just had the compressor replaced and it's working but there's a leak somewhere.
Glad I could help! Have you tried changing the air springs? I had a leak in one of my air springs and replaced it (well both of them). Video -> th-cam.com/video/yQtAepgEWlw/w-d-xo.html
@@DriveTalkCars @DriveTalkCars This is where I'm at...my thinking is that if it was one of the rear air springs, then I would get the message of either left/right side not getting to the right level. But...I'm just guessing. So I'm thinking it's a leak somewhere else. Is my logic wrong?
I enjoy learning by watching your videos. I find them very instructional, interesting, and straightforward to follow and understand. My 2011 model 220 cdi has clocked 255000 km on the clock and is now due for a BK service. I am a bit confused by the K. What does it mean?
I just got a super clean 2013 c350. I won’t need to do maintenance for another year or so but this was helpful as I plan to learn the servicing routine myself
Mannnn, I appreciate this but it's like literally 2 weeks too late for me. Just had my Service B done at a repair shop for $350. Mercedes was trying to charge over $500
I need to add a quart of motor oil asap until I can get my 2018 E400 Coupe to the scheduled appointment on Dec. 26th. I’m looking everywhere including the manual but it’s not telling what type of oil is needed. Please help 😩😩😩.
The vehicle has 116 854 miles and you did the 4th year service B I am confused, a lot more inspections and service should have been done but I understand this is for educational purposes .
Thank you for your feedback. Per Mercedes Benz there are two services, A and B. These services occur every 20k miles or 2 years and basically alternate between Service A and Service B throughout the ownership of the car. So based on the service interval schedule that I used, service B at 10yrs/100k is the same as service B for 4yrs/40k. Now at 100k+ there is definitely more that could be wrong or checked. But I was just trying to show the service items as per the dealerships Service B schedule as I knew it. Thanks again for the comment and watching!
These guides are not exactly prevalent everywhere, and I really appreciate you making these videos. 😭😭😭 And so professionally too. Thank youu 💖💖💖
You did these on ur own?

My advice to anyone with a modern engine. Change the oil regularly - synthetic every 6-8k miles at most. Lots of systems relying on clean, good oil.

Thanks for doing this man I spent $500 doing the service on my E 63 W212
Minor rewrite, you saved $1500 doing it yourself and no one cares about your car more than you do.
I cant believe you have so few subscribers ur videos are really good. keep up the high quality videos
I appreciate that!
I would recommend doing a coolant flush instead of just topping it off with coolant.
Thank you for making it simple explanation.
Glad it was helpful!
