A great way to see parts of the city that most never see is by going by boat. The first stop we got to see the favorite temple of Kinf Taksin. If you want to see more of it here is a video I made of just that temple.

Good video of a boat tour. Can you provide more details of the tour?

This was a special tour set up by the local district to promote the area. My wife found out the details on a Thai website. I haven’t seen it offered again since this video. I have done several other tours and they are pretty easy to set up. You can start near the grand palace as well as from Taling Chan floating markets. They are open everyday and usually cost about 2,000 baht for the whole boat. Whatever tour you take I would try to go to the big Buddha at Wat Pak Nam. I hope this helps.

Very nice to see. Like the canal trips. Saved the video in possible travel ideas. Keep up the good work

Glad you enjoyed it. This trip my wife found through a Thai website and is a special promotional tour for this district. It normally doesn’t happen. There are many other ways to do the canal tours though. At the Talat Phlu pier I showed a sign but it was 1,500 Baht for up to 5 people. That seems to be the standard price for the long tails now on the canals. Even at that price the canals would be well worth it. I really enjoy this part of the city.
