Trust me, go back and play Wind Waker while you're at it. Especially if you're still young. That one is up there on my list because I was around eight years old when I first played and finished it. It's a really great game. Throw in Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time while you're at it.
Dametrias Green I wish I could.. I'm borrowing that Nintendo Switch from my friend, and I don't have any other consoles to play Zelda games at.. But if I had the possibility, I would, because I know how amazing they are
Actually, I don’t remember it in the game, but just in case I’m wrong, try looking at the cutscene before u get off great plateau. (When old man reveals himself to be the king) it sounds like the right cutscene 4 it. But nonetheless, great quote
Very much like your rendition. Alot of the other covers are very "bombastic" and energetic to match the original but yours is subdued and refined yet retains just the right mix of eeriness and "explorative" wonder. Great work!
Hey, thanks! I was pleasantly surprised by the interior version of the music (which feels a lot more tense to me than the exterior one), so I based this arrangement largely on that.
Breath of the wild was the first legend of Zelda game I ever actually played and my god, I honestly loved it so much, exploring the world for the first time was such an amazing experience and the music made it so much better. Playing it a second time from the beginning really let's you see all the small details that have been put into the game.
Yeah it was my first Zelda game too. I have now played Ocarina of time, Majoras mask, links awakening, and the original legend of Zelda, but breath of the wild remains my favorite.
I know this is basically a medley between about 5 songs, Zelda's Lullaby, Ganondof's theme, Hyrule Castle Theme, the original overworld theme, and something else.
man.. walking inside the castle and hearing this song really gave me some strong emotions, the gives off the feeling that beauty has been overtaken by evil, such a gorgeous arrangement
I haven’t listened to this in a while. This song actually brought me joy in my heart. When I was into the legend of Zelda breath of the wild. It was summer. And this song makes me think of that
Link *scales large wall in hyrule castle* 2 seconds later “revalis gale is now ready” Edit: wow i came back here to learn this on piano and didn’t except this many likes
@Cobra Gaming Link: Huph! Hmr! Hyah! [Your meter ran out, but you scaled the wall with the final jump] *breathing intensifies* [meter moves to the quarter degree] Revali: *angrily sighs* Revali's Gale is *NOW* ready... Link: *angrily pulls out bow, activates Revali's Gale, and shoots Revali's Spirit in Bullet Time about 20 times*
This is the best Hyrule castle theme and one of the best tracks from any Zelda game.Majora’s mask is my number 1 but breath of the wild will always hold a special place in my heart and it truly is one of the best gaming experiences you can have
This was the most climactic final area sequence in a Zelda for me. I say this as someone who had played through ALttP, OoT, MM, TP, and SS before playing Breath of the Wild.
This song makes me cry EVERY SINGLE TIME I LISTEN TO IT!!! 😭😭 every time it changes from major to minor my heart aches!!! Really tells the story of link, a hero who can’t save everyone. Thank you for this song!!
This was the first song I ever learned on the piano. This is song is the main reason why I wanted to learn piano. Thank you so much for this great masterpiece.
If this was your first song I'm scared of you I've been doin this piano thing for 10 years this December, and I still struggle with this song You might be better than me, and it terrifies me
My God, this game is so damn good. There are just a few places with typical background music, but the Castle one is a freaking masterpiece. Your arrangement is great, keep up the great work.
I love the fact that in the castle, there is a part of zelda's lullaby, feeling that she was trapped in it for 100 years, fighting painfully ganon, and outside, oweworld theme, basically link's theme, defeating a lot of guardians to come in
Yeah, but the cool parts is that in this, the hands are reversed, in the regular, the right hand would play the melody, and the let the background, and also, the background melody is opposite of what it would be, the notes go up, but here, they go down.
I found that the part at 2:13 is much more easy to play as octaves with just one hand! as you said in the narrated tutorial, it's quite a tricky passage but I find it to be a lot easier with just one hand!
Am I the only one who hears the ballad of the windfish in this theme... idk if it’s just me playing myself but every time I go to the castle in the game it makes me cry. Because links awakening was such a sad game.
Ryan Knight personally idk what that song sounds like (botw is the only Zelda game I've been able to play), but other people have said it is in there. :)
I spent hours trying to listen what was going on with the time signatures. And there it is, on the sheet: 5/4 occasionally changes to 6/4. I knew it! Thank godess, I'm not mad.
I won't lie. I was doing something while listening to this and then 1:49 came on and I broke into tears. This game has meant so much to me. Thank you for this amazing cover
Oh my God, I'm Russian, but you gave me childhood, I listened to many of your songs about zelda, it was my favorite game when I was 6, I listened to you, now I'm 11 and I remembered you and found, And I would like to thank you for your songs. ❤

This ominous collage of Ganon’s theme, the main theme, and the castle theme from Link to the Past sounds so tragic and ominous at the same time. Like walking here you’re stepping over the graves of people who died hundreds of years ago, but if you don’t walk this path, it’ll be the death of hundreds of people in just a few more hours. Mourning with the anxiety thst something worse is coming, all along with the feeling that it’s in a regal stone castle of velvet carpets and ornate candles. This theme is so phenomenal that it’s actually the only time I added my own BGM while playing Dark Souls, playing this theme over Lothric Castle on Dark Souls III. A location thst super fits this chilling theme.
Botw was my first Zelda game and because of this game I bought Oot and TP. I was born in 2006 but I never got to experience the goodness of Zelda until 2018. Botw might be my favorite game of all time.
