It’d be a pain in the ass and most of us would hate it but it’d be funny
I noticed when playing that Dutch was actually acting warmly and physically supportive at the beginning of Guarma when Arthur stumbles back to them, as if thinking he’d lost Arthur brought some shreds of clarity back (like it does later?). If only Micah had died of tropical dysentery or of that big shark from the other side of the island...
@@SPQRKlio I think Dutch went a bit crazy when both Hosea was gone and he felt that he couldn’t win over Arthur’s support in any way. Because those two were the very first members Dutch ran with, so in Dutch’s mind, the core of the gang has fallen apart and Dutch is solely responsible for keeping what’s left of it together.

Here’s one: in Chapter 3 when you rob the stagecoach with Trelawny, instead of waiting for him to talk to the guards, if you go ahead and kill everyone, it will trigger a cutscene after where Trelawny is telling Arthur that his way would have been cleaner. Not only a hidden cutscene but also a different way to do the mission.

The most important alternate cut scene in the game was the sister cauldrón/ reverend Swanson scene... I go for the sister cut scene bc it's so emotional (shes my favorite side character) and I feel like she really made Arthur feel a lot better about himself and his situation.
I personally like seeing compilations of the extra and alternative epilogue scenes, because there’s not a lot of chance I’ll be replaying that part as obsessively as I replay the early game. I love both Rob and Roger, but I always feel too melancholy in the epilogue, and I guess I’m not as into that part of story. And yet I still want every last nibble of the actors’ performances… 😅
I have played this game through many times but could never play much after the last mission but I now have a game going that I continued playing as John. I had John put on Arthur's clothes for several days and it helped me get into more. I have really enjoyed traveling over the map from the first RDR game. I love seeing the differences in the towns from the first game. 🙂
I remember my first playthrough after release date, in the epilogue with John it had a scene where John grabs Arthur's hat before heading to the mountains to kill Micah, I recently replayed the whole game and noticed it was removed

I've recently started a 2nd playthrough after I beat it probably pre covid and I'm sticking to first person mainly, it's so cool seeing hidden cutscenes for normal gameplay, the nice thing is I dont remember too much about the game so alot of the hidden ones are a nice surprise when they do happen
This happened to me last night. High honor, help John ending. If Micah catches up before you reach his gun, he grabs Arthur’s skull and bashes it in the ground while mocking him for failing. It was pretty jarring, I wasn’t expecting it.
I like the alternate cutscenes if you go back to the side missions you started as Arthur but finish as John. In the one I played, the guy giving the mission basically said "Better late than never, I guess" before continuing on as he would've with Arthur. I also got the unique scene with Herr Strauss because I hated the debt collecting missions and naively thought I could skip them by ignoring them.
For #3, you can actually disarm the two Cornwall gunmen by shooting their hands. They’ll run off and it will trigger up to 3 different voice lines depending on how you did the duel. Kill none - “and don’t come back” basically Kill one or two - “you come back, and you’ll wish I killed you too” basically Kill all three - “don’t you wish you’d just left?” Or something
While running thru different possible scenarios of different gang members I had a thought. From the interaction with him in camp and on other missions it seems to me that if Lenny had survived that he would have went to Mexico and possibly helped John with his ranch after being sought out or hearing of him coming back. What do u think?
I experienced something similar today after getting Jack back from Bronte, Dutch makes a big speech in camp. In the middle of his speech a storm rolled in and there was a big bolt of lightning right behind him.
Sadie is literally just a Mary Sue lmfao. The husband thing could've been a good plot line, but they executed it poorly. She seemed to have got over his death in chapter 3, but then starts taking vengeance on every O'Driscoll during chapter 4-6. I get her whole character is based around that, but she gets over him completely in the epilogue. Honestly just take her away from the epilogue and it wouldn't be much of a difference. She's also literally just a female Micah, only she doesn't get consequences. When Micah gets the gang in a shootout, he gets antagonized and is told that he's a nuisance. But when Sadie gets the gang in a shootout (Colm O'Driscoll's hanging), she doesn't get antagonized and everyone acts like she didn't do anything wrong. (Obviously he deserves the hate, but she should get consequences as well.) TL;DR: Sadie's husband plot line was executed okay, and when Sadie gets the gang in a shootout she doesn't get consequences, but when Micah gets the gang in a shootout, he gets consequences.
Any time I hear the background music playing in the first two minutes or so, I tear up. I remember beating this game 3 different times and crying every time

14:50 god these moments make me emotional. It is so bittersweet, knowing what fate holds for the two of them. It is lovely to see they got some time to be normal, if only for a few years. It’s also beautiful to see John’s love for Abigail. He shows it in strange ways, and he isn’t always the most present in their relationship, but you can tell that he loves her deeply, even if he isn’t sure why, or what that means.
There actually another scene for artist part. Instead of talking to the guy just run up on him and knock him out. Arthur will say " I don't know why I did that? " It's so funny. 🤣

There is another when Abigail asks Arthur to take jack fishing. If you start the quest at night he will say I will take him in the morning and a cutscene plays when he goes to sleep. Then you walk up to jack like normal and go fishing.
actually, I did see the john's oil wagon one first time around, because iirc, I did the micah mission first, and then I came back to camp, and the wagon marks were gone
😭the way Dutch tried to help Arthur they have such a good bond in the beginning and you can see it in some parts in the end like this one (also when you die as Arthur you can see Dutch’s face for like 2 seconds he is so upset and surprised that he just stops for a moment, he looks so sad that you are dead 😢😭)

I got that cutscene with the first bounty like three times on accident. I tapped too slow on my first playthrough, I thought it was impossible to pull him up so I didn’t try on the next two, and on my fourth playthrough I finally pulled him up.

In the Jack fishing quest if you starting it at night Abigail will tell Arthur go to sleep and unique cutscene will play as Arthur prepared to sleep and then cut to daytime
What’s funny is I actually got the cutscene at 0:17 ish my first play through cause I got the game the night of release and I stayed up to beat the game and I was in a hurry with this mission so when I seen the tracks led to the camp so I shot one cause i thought ok there they are we caught up to them let’s get this over with

I've seen #13 but it wasn't because I forgot to get the debt. I just didn't want Arthur to get sick. So I put off going to collect the debt for about a month just riding around exploring.
In Beau's mission to give Penelope a letter and gift, open the gift, go to the fence, sell the gift, then give gift to Penelope and you get a different cut scene where Penelope asks for the gift and Arthur says there wasn't one.
One thing I have noticed about this game though is how they don’t have their thumb on the hammer to pull it back before they fire just looks awkward when they hold the revolver like a pistol
When Susan comes to talk to you about washing yourself, if you keep walking away as she's talking, a different cutscene plays in which she actually does slap him and he chuckles

I think Lenny would have gone north tbh. And with any luck, forgot about his past in the gang. If John didn’t have to hunt him down in the end

I got that cutscene with the first bounty like three times on accident. I tapped too slow on my first playthrough, I thought it was impossible to pull him up so I didn’t try on the next two, and on my fourth playthrough I finally pulled him up.

I like to get the downes mission over with because of what that means for Arthur and he’s still 100% during chapter 2. But if I do forget to do the mission and I get reminded I like to do it right after just cus I like to think Arthur’s are so intense right now because of Mary he just wants to hit something

In the Jack fishing quest if you starting it at night Abigail will tell Arthur go to sleep and unique cutscene will play as Arthur prepared to sleep and then cut to daytime

What’s funny is I actually got the cutscene at 0:17 ish my first play through cause I got the game the night of release and I stayed up to beat the game and I was in a hurry with this mission so when I seen the tracks led to the camp so I shot one cause i thought ok there they are we caught up to them let’s get this over with

Also if you rob Sheamus's cousin (by marriage) at night, Hosea gives you the option to sneak in the house while everyone is asleep, or wait until morning. I discovered that on my second playthrough

I've seen #13 but it wasn't because I forgot to get the debt. I just didn't want Arthur to get sick. So I put off going to collect the debt for about a month just riding around exploring.
In Beau's mission to give Penelope a letter and gift, open the gift, go to the fence, sell the gift, then give gift to Penelope and you get a different cut scene where Penelope asks for the gift and Arthur says there wasn't one.

Version 1.00 winter coat closed glitch then just remove the coat from the wardrobe and it will make Arthur shirtless
