3:05 The Z'gok is the only one that has this problem.
The Gogg, Acguy, and Zock have moving mono eyes but no armor preventing you from seeing it
Those suits in particular are fine but the Zaku I, Zudah, Gouf (to a lesser extent), and Jagd Doga had that design. Although you could get away with it on the Jagd Doga since it has mutiple cameras to create the 360° cockpit view, you can't really say the same for the OYW mobile suits.

Even though Zeon overall always has the better designs

@@thehobbyist1162 The worst RGs I've built (in terms of overall stability) was the Zeta and the GP01Fb. Terrible shoulders and waist on the Zeta and the waist of the Fb has zero stability thanks to the core fighter integration. things are both hand grenades.

1:25 Just finished the MG Z’gok and I recommend it, BUT make sure you know which one your getting.
While the Mass Production type has no accessories, it is better to pose. Chars custom comes with a 4 prong claw and 3 prong, but is also a different build using rubber tubes that limit the articulation.

I just built my first three gunpla kits and the satisfaction I feel when I look at them is unrivaled by anything I have felt before.
I have the MG Zgok and I think it’s a good kit but not compared to your typical 2.0 era gundam, it’s more like it’s own unique thing kind of like the mg deep striker or the O, id still pick one up though it adds some nice variety to my Mg collection

Ive had mine for a while now, absolutely love it. Just recently took it apart and i am gonna give it a minor custom job (perhaps some missle pods on the arms and a commander's horn) and then a blue based color swap and minor details painted.

Great review, I have the kit myself and love it. Accessories also include replacement parts for the claws to have 4 claws on each hand instead of 3.
This is one of the most satisfying looking builds in my opinion.
I definitely recommend the MG Z'Gok. It's actually one of my favorite kits. Definately shows its age but it holds up just because of how unique it is. I've built both the red and blue, and I highly recommend the red one. The construction of the arms and legs are different so it's a lot more solid.

5:11 Does the RG Char's Zaku and Sazabi come with the same Char figure?
They dont because the on with the sazabi is the one with longer hair and the zakus is the masked char

If you are planning on buying a MG Zgok, then I would recommend that you buy the Char version, because it fixes some of the issues with the normal Zgok
Also, the kit is supposed to come with a 4 claw version of the hand, but I guess you lost it during the 6 or so years
What are the issues that the normal version has?
Wasn't it the opposite?
@@zannusx some of the joints kinda wobbled and the char's version fixed it by adding some rubber parts

They don't look big and powerful enough to be mega particle cannons

MG Z'gok. Haven't built it yet but a friend of mine has and I've handled it out of box and customized. It's amazing especially for the time it was rolled out.

I tried ordering this from Amazon twice and both times the package was lost. First time they offered a re-try, second time they refused so I was out 25 bucks. I want that damn kit!

I'm always a sucker for unique designs like this. Sure it's not as cool as as the other kits like unicorn or whatever but this one looks like stand out the most

Just built the grunt Zugock MG a few days ago. Even though its made in 2003, I highly recommend building it
I remember building one and there were an "extra set of hands", there was 1 pair of hands with 3 claws and another with 4 iirc. But you wouldnt have enough claws for all sets of hands

The MG Zgok is pretty good for the point it was made. I'd recommend picking up both versions though, so you can see the differences between building them, as there's a little more to the build with the Char's Zgok.
I built this guy yesterday and is now chillin with my other zeon mobile suits, with all honesty they are zakus, and a geara zulu

Yes! The master grade is a fun short build and it's pretty solid for how old it is. I definitely recommend the MG version!

I just got the MG Z’Gok for Christmas and it’s okay, probably silver or bronze tier in your book. The chest vents were a pain and a lot of nub marks. But if you paint and like old school kits it may be worth picking up.
I love this RG Char Zgok. It is standing next to my RG Char Zaku II.
i wish they'll still continue this with the rg gelgoog that's the only thing that's left

Personally this is my favorite rg I have built. I had fun putting it together. I have both the rg and mg of this gundam. I know it probably won't happen but I would like a pg version of this gundam.
In the kit there are also parts included to give it itS 4 clawed hands

The MG Z'Gok is a great kit, and i really loved the build. It is an old MG kit, though, so temper your enthusiasm for what the internals are.
The Z'Gok is one of my favorites of Char's mobile suits.
I know it’s a lot to ask but I would LOVE a Perfect Grade Red Frame Astray (Not Kai) because like no one has any reviews on it here on TH-cam and you’re the best at these

I've built the MG Char's Z'gok, and it's quite nice! Though I would recommend the Mass Production version, because I took a look at the MP Ver's manual online and it doesn't have the super annoying rubber tubes in the limbs.

It did come with options for either 3 clawed hands or 4 clawed hands.
the mg zgok is almost like the rg just big, sturdy, and pink. definitely reccomend for a cheap mg that still stands the tests of time
You should try to build the old mg z'gok. One of my favorite old master grades and it's pretty cheap
I would definitely recommend it it one of those early real grades that don't really fall apart but I would be careful with the arms and legs segments because I would eventually get loose but not as terribly but that the only thing I could really say that is bad with the kit but if you a zeon or just love char mobile suits I would recommend it
Personally, I recommend the High Grade Z'gok.
Not only do you have 2 different color choices, the build is unique, the articulation is just as good as the real grade, and it's only $10
I built the Mass Production Type and it's a very good kit. Just be careful of the jet black plastic that makes up the inner workings. Be gentle yet firm with it.
I agree. This is something that need to get the origin, revive or build divers version. It's such a cool mobile suit
this was my first Gunpla build ever
And it was also my first paint job too
I didn't like the 'salmon pink' it looked sun bleached to me so I painted the body a dark blue with silver accents(claws, toes and, missiles) while keeping the maroon
The 'problem' with the mono eye has always bugged me too. How would the pilots actually USE that eye too see forward?
Would love an RG Hygogg!
