At first I was so confused why you redid this tutorial. So I went back to the original honeycomb stitch video and as great as it is (It's the video that taught me the honeycomb stitch) I see that you have upgraded your equipment and techniques so much you just had to redo it for us. We are so blessed to have a teacher and Creator such as yourself, who cares about us so much to give us these high quality tutorials. ❤️
You are absolutely the best teacher!! I cannot believe how easy you make this technique. I bought a Tunisian crochet hook over 10 years ago at a yard sale. I had no idea what it was, but it looked interesting. I forgot about the strange hook until I saw your video. Now I am making my first scarf. It is easy and goes fast. I love it. I can’t wait to tackle the afghan you advertise. Thank you for your videos. ❤
Sweetie, I just started with Tunisian Crochet this morning. I've had the Clover set for a few years, but never dabbled in it since regular Crochet has been my "church" for years. Well, I decided that the saying, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks" should be put to the test. So, I pulled out my Tunisian set and honey...I'm HOOKED! I started off with your beginner lesson for the Simple Stitch, then moved on to the Purl Stitch. Now, I'm on this Honeycomb Stitch and I love, love LOVE it! I chained 30 for a scarf and am currently on row 6. Yes, my hands hurt -- that's pain I knew I would experience. But, I'm confident as *I* become more confident, that the pain will ease as it did with regular Crochet. Thank you for sharing your love for this remarkable Fiber Art! I'll catch ya on the other end of this scarf. MUCH ♥
Im75 however you are a great teacher I have a disabled granddaughter and she thinks in latitude and longitude, but she loves to crochet with you, which is really great to keep her busy thank you so much
wow I'm just learning regular crochet and the way you showed me how chains have 3 loops by turning is such a simple gamechanger. All of the little details are very helpful. Saving this for if I ever get that hook you're using to try Tunisian. For now you've inspired confidence to re-try the crochet that was stumping me earlier. Frogged the foundation of a different project about 50 times today then gave up lol. Thanks!!!
Toni, you are the best teacher! I mostly knit but love Tunisian crochet. It just looks so special. I understand how to do things by the way you explain things. Thank you!
The honeycomb stitch is my favorite Tunisian crochet stitch 💜 It's juuust varied enough to keep me interested without being complex enough that I can't do it while watching videos.
You are such a great teacher! You made this stitch so easy for me to learn. I’ve lost all my confusion and fear when doing Tunisian knit, including new patterns and stitches. Thank you.
Out of curiosity, in your video 6 years ago, you mentioned preferring doing this with odd numbers stitches, but here you did even number. Did something change or is it just a personal preference?
Hi Toni, this is my first tunisian project ever and I was wondering if you had any suggestions for if you can't really tell what's going on with your chain? I don't know why but for some reason my chain is just so messy that I can't tell where the back bump is. I don't have this problem with normal crochet so I don't really know what I'm doing wrong. Help? (I have tried tighter tension but then I can't get into the back bumps.)

Well, I learned something new besides the stitch! I have not been grabbing the shadow stitch at end of row. Great tutorial!

A lovely stitch! Thank you for the clarification for the last stitch. I usually get lost there, for whatever reason.
Thank you for the inspiration, finally have a use for some random yarn I bought at the charity shop! Soon it will be a scarf 😊
Beautiful ❤ Thank you 😊
I love the Tunisian Honeycomb Stitch

It's a little easier to teach it this way, since there's no extra stitch at the end. But it doesn't change the pattern - you can use either method :-)
@@TLYarnCraftsThanks so much for replying 🤗
Mooie steek is dit een onderdeel van de deken die ik in het begin zag? Dank je wel
Hello, I’m a newbie , I just ordered me some Tunisian hooks , and what’s the difference in yarn if I don’t have worsted? All of this is new to me.
