    I recently bought Alinsea liquid glass/glass protector. The installation went well, despite the trickery they throw on you in the tutorial video. A small amount of liquid is applied first, then the glass layer is carefully put on. Provided you actually have a level surface( the kit oddly does not come with one) the liquid will fill the glass consistently and leave you with a great looking finish. I do question whether or not this product is effective. The obvious drawback is that if you do break the screen below the protector, you now are stuck with a broken screen(there are videos of people effectivly removing White Dome protectors similar to this one)
    Maybe you would do a review on this product? Here's a reply link to the installation video that has product info included.

    Does the Otterbox Alpha glass have adhesive in the center? So many of the name brand $15 to $25 glasses protectors only have adhesive on the edges, so I lose touch and the center bounces slightly requiring an extra push or firm swipe to get it to respond.

      After trying out the "best" solution, whitestone, best screen protector is no screen protector, for me at least.
      Before wasting money on the whitestone product, I tried out a few other solutions like the water application protectors, which I consider the worst screen protectors available (they feel like shit) as well as regular tempered glass screen protectors... The fucking glare man... Amoled black was portrayed as grey, it was so awful!
      As I mentioned, do not bother with screen protectos, just purchase a good case.

    • @xZen0sx

      So I found a little trick to remedy those spider web/lifting issue. Using a lighter heat up that section for few second and it will all smooth out. It might sounds sketchy putting flame on screen but it hasn't cause any damage to the actual screen underneath.

    Does anyone know a good protector to get for my Note9? I've had it for a year and I still have the glass one Verizon put on when I bought it! Though it now has several shattered areas from a couple of unlucky falls 🤕 I'd like a fairly affordable one, that sticks good (the main problem with this one is that the curved edges are very bubbly) and actually protects like this one lol. Thanks!

I got the only protector available at the store when I had to replace my stolen phone (Loved my Note 5 :'( ) and had to get this crappy ass infinity edge bs (b/c I wanted a Note). I will never again get an infinity edge phone if this going to be the issue. It is simply gross and disgusting around the edge. It was dirty the very next day. Hair gets under it and looks like the screen is broken underneath the protector. And the spots of dirt that work their way to the middle of the screen... ugh! People, you can make your Note 9, if yiu have one, or some other phones screen protector more responsive to touches by enableing touch sensitivity. You're welcome. In terms of looks if you want a more matte looking screen go with plastic ot one that is anti glare or actually says it's for matte and if you want a more glossy looking screen go with glass. I would actually rather have a matte screen with no crazy colour change myself for less glare.

    Your video is a crap. You have never tried X-One screen protectors: Very cheap: costs only USD 10 and offers better protection compared to most craps that you have reviewed.
    Top 3 best screen protectors for Note 9 in 2018 should be as follows.
    1.Whitestone Dome
    (with proper installation)
    2.X-one
    3.Otterbox

      I personally have found that whitestone will still start to separate on the right edge even with a perfect install. I went through two of them on my Note 9, the first one my phone wasnt set in the jig all the way so some glue ran off. After that one bubbled, I got a second and the install was perfect with no dust and all the glue stayed where it should. Only 2 days old and it bubbled on the bottom right corner the same way.

    • @MsBadgirl108
      @MsBadgirl108 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@patrickm2912 The otterbox is amazing, my phone has fallen more than 2 times and it's barely gotten a scratch. There are no bubbles and it fits perfectly. They probably put it on wrong, if you put it on properly, there will be no problems.

    • @richardhawk7758
      @richardhawk7758 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MsBadgirl108 How could they incorrectly install it when it comes with a fucking installation tray that only allows you to to install it correctly. The ones that only utilize edge adhesion do not work long term and are prone to getting dust under them. That is a fact and there's not company that can fix that objective design flaw while using tempered glass with edge adhesion. I'd love for you to come back, with it being 10 months later, and tell me that your original Otterbox screen protector is still on the phone without issue short of it cracking due to a fall.
