Fun fact: Adams is also an accomplished professional photographer, having even once been invited to do portraiture work with the late Queen Elizabeth (who was also Queen of 🇨🇦, and quite a few other countries in the British Commonwealth).
Summer of ‘69 is another banger of his… and Straight From the Heart, and Everything I Do, I Do it For You, and his duet with Tina Turner, It’s Only Love. And so many more. He’s an amazing artist.
I was 16 when the album containing this song ("Reckless") was released in 1984. The album went 11x platinum in Canada, 5x platinum in the UK, and 3x platinum in the US. It also spawned 6 singles that charted above 20 in the US (including Heaven, which reached no 1). I have seen him live three times (in 1984, 1985, and 2024). Not only does he still have "it," he rocks harder and louder than ever (and with some of his original bandmates, no less). The next song you should hit is a duet that Adams sang with the legendary Tina Turner. It was also on this album, as well as an album Turner released around the same time. Here are the search terms to pull up this stunning performance: Bryan Adams Tina Turner It's Only Love live Birmingham 1985 You won't be disappointed!
This, Summer of 69, and Run to You, while not truly a trilogy, but if you watch all 3 videos together, you can interpret it as a full movie. Really neat.
One of my favourite male vocalists ever!!! His collaboration with Sting and Rod Stewart is epic!! A perfect raspy trio! All For love.. on the soundtrack to Three Musketeers
I wasn't really a Bryan Adams fan when I went to a concert with friends. Best concert experience ever. Best fan interaction ever. He let fan come as close as they wanted to the stage, told security to "piss off". They literally walked out of the arena and fans got up and danced by the stage. Everything was peaceful and fine.
Bryan Adams just did a concert at Royal Albert Hall 43yrs into his career and sounds exactly the same if you care to check it out its on Crave Check Bryan out Live at Wembley....he'll blow your mind❤🇨🇦😊
Just wanted to second the point someone else has already made that Adams' long-time song-writing partner, Jim Valance, deserves a lot of credit for Adams' success.
Brian Adams' vocals are SO GREAT!!! Saw him in the pouring down rain at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, opening for The Stones....SO, SO GOOD!!! He has SO MANY GREAT TUNES!! HUGS!!
Bryan is most likely Canada's most successful musical artist. I don't think another Candian singer or group has had more number 1 and top 10 hits world wide. Bryan is still recording, but his peak years spanned from te 70's to the mid 90's.
Bryan Adams and his song writing partner James Vallance wrote a TON of hits going back to 1980. Almost right out of the box they co-wrote a #1 U.S. hit for James’s former Canadian band, Prism, with the song “Don’t Let Him Know”, on Prism’s 1981 album, Small Change. “Please Forgive Me”, and “Everything I Do, I Do It For You” were other huge hits for Bryan.
You should definitely take a trip down the Bryan Adams rabbit hole. He has so many great songs! Some of them are - All For Love, Please Forgive Me, Summer Of '69, Everything I Do I Do It For You, Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman, Please Forgive Me, and Run To You
I love this song ! I loved watching your face when the lightbulb went off and you realized that this is the original song that has been redone and sampled.
Is Bryan Adams the creator of “heaven” ? Epic Cliff, just epic. Love the channel. I’m 57 and I admit…we did grow up with best music. Please try, cuts like a knife and everything do I do it for you. Ty.
This video is part of a trilogy. It makes more sense if you watch in order… Summer of 69, Heaven, Run to You… some of his (many) greatest hits. Check them out!
Canadian icon ! Summer of 69 is a banger. If you like Canadian talent check out April Wine...Roller extended version they're incredible. Great reaction and Peace out Cliff ☮️ ✌️ 🙏
He is a very prolific song writer writes for himself an others …. Think you would really enjoy the making of “Tears are Not Enough” (the Canadian “We are the World”) it’s a two part video on you tube .
I still have to watch the video but I can already say that this is history! one of the songs I listened to as a teenager when I was probably in an acute hormonal phase 😂😂😂
Gotta love Bryan Adams ❤ Still patiently waiting on some Genesis though 🎉🎉 Live Wembley 1987 Mama ABACAB ( First 2 songs of concert) Best to do these together to get a true sense what theyre about Then... Domimo ( Minute 16:00 ) Home by the Sea ( 1:09:00 ) Absolute Showstoppers 💯 🎉 th-cam.com/video/4NSWWFhTrk0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ubZVd4QrUPRzY7Lw
this video follows on from the summer of 69 video where we see the woman with bryan.then at the end she's leaveing town with the drunk.hence why she goes to his concert and he tries to get to her at the end. the actress is brit lysette antony, she had a sitcom in the uk called 3 up 2 down.she's the posh girl who marries a working class guy.they have a kid and his dad,her mum move in downstairs to help out. she then moved to the US,got this job. please do when your gone offical video from the mid 90's,it's a duet with mel c,sporty spice from the spice girls.
I wish you had used the live performance of this song.. the video is a complete distraction from the song and Bryan Adams' performance... I know it can be tricky navigating the question about which version to react to, so if you get a chance you might want to do a second reaction and use his live performance in Wembly....
You're about to know! Gen X GOLDMINE!!! Big songs, movie themes, etc. ***EVERYTHING I DO I DO IT FOR YOUR*** (robin hood),***STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART***, ***PLEASE FORGIVE ME***, ***HAVE YOU REALLY EVER LOVED A WOMAN*** ...there are collabs with Sting and Rod Stewart and even one with Pavarotti. Start with the official robin hood vid. :)
Also a video of Bryan and Tina Turner live.... that was a hit. " It's only Love and was a top 15 song.... still great other collaboration of two greats.... from 1985.
I’m sure you have heard this song before because there is no talent today. There are artists like Miley Cyrus covering past songs to keep their weak careers alive. Music from the 60s 70s & 80s was a great period for music. And then rap/hip hop came along and started steal/sample others music and took real talent music
Have You Ever Really Loved a woman.
Summer of 69.
Cuts Like a Knife.
All for Love with Sting and Rod Stewart.
A few songs from Bryan Adams musicology.
The drummer on this song is Steve Smith of Journey. He’s a master of playing ballads.
Fun fact: Adams is also an accomplished professional photographer, having even once been invited to do portraiture work with the late Queen Elizabeth (who was also Queen of 🇨🇦, and quite a few other countries in the British Commonwealth).

All For Love was in the Three Muskateers film.
I love that song!

Love this song but Everything I Do ... is my favorite by Bryan Adams...
If you notice at the end he looks outside and sees the snow. Leads into another song calls "Run to You"
This girl is in nearly all his videos, it's been a progression of their relationship starting with 'Summer of 69'
Bryan Adams just did a concert at Royal Albert Hall 43yrs into his career and sounds exactly the same if you care to check it out its on Crave
Check Bryan out Live at Wembley....he'll blow your mind❤🇨🇦😊

Unfortunately Bieber surpassed him. Then there is Celine Dion and Rush.
Joni Mitchell.

In my opinion his best ballad by far.
I have loved this man since he hit the music scene. Went to see him in 86
Bryan Adam’s albums do not disappoint! Would love to see you go down a Bryan Adam’s rabbit hole ❤
I love this song ! I loved watching your face when the lightbulb went off and you realized that this is the original song that has been redone and sampled.
Very underrated song of his is "Vanishing"
The same girl is in the video for "Run To You".

A great song of his is “everything I do” definitely worth a watch. I’m new to your channel and definitely my new favourite reactor
I have a confession, everything I hear this song I think of Jensen Ackles sing it.
Please do the live version at wembley..audience participation
I remember this. Wasn't into pop all that much but everybody heard this song. lol
Thank you for this blast from the past.
I believe he sang a number of songs for the movie, Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron. That light raspiness in his voice is great to listen to.
"is Bryan Adams the creator of heaven?" LOL He is in my book. 🥰 👍
@@KK-qd6ro He is in every book because he IS lol
@@kimbarry4674 Not sure what you mean. I was just commenting on Bryan Adams.
Yes
I only listen 80s music! My fave decade!

Think I prefer his live performance of Heaven at Wembley in 96
God was the creator of heaven my guy

Where's your girlfriend?
I've always liked two people reactions .
One will catch something the other won't.
Another big blocker unfortunately
