Michael Anthony's bass work on School's Out is just amazing! He is running up and down the neck of that bass the entire time, especially during the solos, and he still is perfectly locked in, never playing over anyone, always just where he needs to be to compliment the music.. and that's on a song he's never played publicly with a band he's never played with. Michael Anthony is a top tier musician in every way. What a gem of a human that dude is!
Agreed.Michael Anthony is such a good bassist because he knows his role in a rock band.He keeps it pumping along but has the chops when called for.Years of playing in,essentialy a trio, that just happens to have a guy up front singing.
Michael Anthony inspired me to play the bass when first heard Van Halen back in 77' I hear thumpin bass on Running with the Devil I never anything like that he holds down the bottom end and he's still kicking ass!!! 12:38
You're absolutely right. Alice and his band ALWAYS brings it and steals the show no matter their billing. Especially now when Nita Strauss tours with him.
very cool to see REAL Freaking amplifiers on stage and none of that floor digital direct to FOH crap. Nothing like real organic American iconic rock n roll with guitar and amp. Marshall non the less. DIG IT !!!!!!
alice cooper ages so well even tho hes always looked 60 to me. he still looks the same as i remember as a kid. so awesome!!! hes 75 years old and still rocking. honestly sebastian bach looks older than cooper
I saw the original band in Dec '71 on the Killer tour. 1st time using the gallows. When that trap door opened and he dropped in that noose, for a few seconds the auditorium was eerily silent. They later jammed on the riff that would become "school's out". That original band were firing on all cylinders at that time!
My sister brought home the billion dollar babys album and I was hooked on rock and roll. I was maybe 12 or 13. Chuck Berry had alot to do with that also.
Great to see the preacher Alice Cooper up there at 75, we have been through hell and by God's grace we come through it..... the reason you don't see my band on the stage is because they're dead from drugs and I am the only one left alive to report it.... check it out man , I had in my hands today 1950s Gold Arch top Les Paul... and it fits me like a glove!!
School’s Out was our senior walk out song from High School. 1974. Fun. I remember staying up REALLY late on Friday night to see Alice Cooper on Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert. See we didn’t HAVE no MTV or TH-cam back then. Sh*t we didn’t even have Cable TeeVee. Had to walk barefooted in the snow uphill both ways. HEY!!!!! You kids get off my lawn!!!!!!!!!!………………………………
Orianthi ~ smokin hot guitar leads and tone ( looks like a PRS) but the carpe diem get all of it mechanics...she is literally strangling some notes to get FATTER vibrato...i was like "Mercy! Lady ~..." painting this song like it was Mona Lisa with a nose ring...and sharing leads with the other guy...oh ya...then Michael Anthony plugs in ~ talk about Embarassment of riches...wow.
Alice is lame AF! I get he was "shocking" 70 years ago..(hard for me to write that without laughing)...but he's so cringe nowadays. Doesn't help everyone in the crowd singing looks like George Costanza 😂
Seeing Michael Anthony onstage anywhere just makes me happy...
And sound great!
Michael is awesome. He really got the shaft from the Van Halens but Sammy knew his true value😊
Yes,indeed!
I was going to say the same thing. he can play w anyone. still has that high voice
That was freekin' great. Great ta see Kip Winger and Michael Anthony...Alice at 75, still got it.

Not to mention one of the greatest Back Up Singers of all time
Michael Anthony inspired me to play the bass when first heard Van Halen back in 77' I hear thumpin bass on Running with the Devil I never anything like that he holds down the bottom end and he's still kicking ass!!! 12:38
Thanks for sharing this.... just awesome and Anthony on those bass runs were incredible.
After over 50years. Still the best
Ive been fortunate enough to see Alice alot. No matter where he is on the bill. They're always the best band
Never seen Alice, but I just recently saw Nita open for Mammoth WVH. She kicks ass on the guitar.
Seen him a couple of months ago. The guy is still rocking hard at 75.
You're absolutely right. Alice and his band ALWAYS brings it and steals the show no matter their billing. Especially now when Nita Strauss tours with him.
Wow Alice is in good shape! God bless him!
Alice Cooper is legendary. Hasn't changed at all. And a hell of a golfer. LOL
alice is a legit golfer... and i'm not laughing as a say that.
@@mariek6993 I agree. I was laughing with admiration
Kip Winger is a great bass player!🎃
@@mariek6993 Corrigindo "jogador"
Alice actually did commercials for Callaway Golf and David Leadbetter you can check them out here on TH-cam
Orianthi,I Love you fan from Greece ❤❤️🔥🎸🇬🇷

That was great. Nice camera work too.

Rock and Roll is not dead!!! Still kicking ass and taking names! EFF YEAH!
Orianthi always did a great job during her time in the band. Nice to see her doing this.

Alice is as good and strong as he was 50 yrs ago
alice cooper ages so well even tho hes always looked 60 to me. he still looks the same as i remember as a kid. so awesome!!! hes 75 years old and still rocking. honestly sebastian bach looks older than cooper
Multi-generational Super Group. Amazing. I ran across Alice Cooper in NYC back in 1978. Just a regular dude enjoying the city.
Icon Alice Cooper puts on the greatest shows ever and he puts together the greatest bands ever - they all rock - truly professionals.

My first concert was Alice Cooper at the Aladdin Hotel in the summer of 1977. Hard to believe we're both still rockin' !!
This is great! Michael Anthony, Winger, this is really cool, & combined with old Alice, too, nice.😅
Love Vincent ! One of the best of all time .😎🥃
Wow! That was amazing!
Ok - i can watch this 24/7!!!
Alice is a true legend.
Ladies and Gents (and those of you who decided day to day) I never heard of Orianthi. Holy shit, she can shred.
She is a phenom, totally amazing player. She even played for Micheal Jackson and many others.
Thx
My sister brought home the billion dollar babys album and I was hooked on rock and roll. I was maybe 12 or 13. Chuck Berry had alot to do with that also.
Is there ever a guy, besides EVH himself who loves playing music more than Mikey? I think not.
Mike didn’t have the last name, but he definitely had it in his blood, attitude, & playing.
AC can still deliver. Great ensemble too!
Awesome Coop!
Great camera work. Clean and clear
Alice should be given an OBE for services to music , he is the god of rock
Wow just awesome !!!!!!
Still got the voice.
Magic!

HEY!!!!! You kids get off my lawn!!!!!!!!!!………………………………
😆 lol
Nearly 97 years young and still rocking! 🪨🎯
Awesome!!!!
This is great!
Michael Anthony shredding on School's Out.
I think Alice should do a farewell tour with anyone who has ever played in his band.
Take Alice Cooper and add Michael Anthony and you have magic my friends.
Kip and Orianthi used to be in Coopers Band if I'm not mistaken.
So was Reb Beach.
Yes.
Just killer!
Alice Cooper has influenced all these wonderful people, who today in turn are on the road to legend. Fantastic (Orianthi pure beauty ❤🔥)
0:00:18 1. No More Mr Nice Guy | Alice Cooper

ALICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that Fitzy from Toque playing bass on the first song???
Cool seeing Orianthi jammin' w Alice again! And Michael, that's a first🤘🏼 Who's the gal on the far left?
Alice's wife.
Sheryl Cooper
Alice looks great.
Always delivers.
Kip winger...used to be in Alice's band.
Orthanti ..can take or leave her. Leave her.
Алик купер это целая музыкал ьная эпоха
Notice the shared bass guitar.
PBR, good taste in beer is blown to pieces 🙈
Bring back the guitarist from the Poison days.
Ready for Alice to make a tour stop in Dhaka.... Nobody ever stops by Dhaka accept Bryan Adams and Richard Marx....
What am I missing here? Kip Winger was backup vocal for Alice, but never performed any of his own songs?
Yes
Is that Nuno on the bass?!?!
Is Nita Strauss not in the band anymore? Is Orianthi back in the band?
This is just a one-off 3 song performance. 🎵
She is still in the band, but just got off tour with Mammoth WVH 2 days prior to this show.
Damn who is the girl on the left...She can play...
Orianthi
why does Alice have a chic guitarist in the last 15 years or so.
Draws attention...don't you think. 👀
🎉😊📶📶📶

who is that guy ↗ on guitar?
Brent Woods
Awesome dirty wah solo brent
i'm surprised Johnny Depp wasn't there...lol
Is that Orianthi
Yep!
Krakauer Sauc.-or NormalSauc., between great Plum some blue Cheese, mjammmm.
DETROIT MUSCLE
Orainti wasn't in the lineup in 2023 was she?
No she was not... that makes this so cool.
Poopy pants
Probably the only one of my lifelong artists still worth watching. Kiss/ ac dc/ guns n roses...etc...all a bit shit now, sorry to say😫😁👍
Nita has so much more stage presence and is by far the better player
Stage presence, yes, but better, I don't believe.
Totally disagree - on both counts.
Orianthi ROCKS!🎸🤘
Not better. Just different
Two entirely different types of players. Nita and Ori are both awesome.
Orianthi, please lose that fkn hat!
Orianthi is good. But she doesn't hold a candle to Nita Strauss. Nita is way better for the band.
all around pathetic
That's harsh, man.
Alice is lame AF! I get he was "shocking" 70 years ago..(hard for me to write that without laughing)...but he's so cringe nowadays. Doesn't help everyone in the crowd singing looks like George Costanza 😂
There is always one wrong tone at „No more…“🫣
It makes me crazy! Beyond that one of the most iconic songs from AC💪
Who the f is he 75yo?! amazing
All this great music and performers, but keep seeing eddie trunk on stage....get off!
um its his party,he is introducing his friends
