I played this song on my stereo MANY MANY times in the 1970s… I cannot believe alice cooper is still going strong.. good for him !!!! loved listening and remembering this song… i cranked in loud on my record player...
The immortal Alice Cooper and Schools Out. I bought the in 72, 73 I think and it's been one of my favorites since. My only time seeing him was on the Nightmare tour in 79 or early 80s. Love watching him even today with the rock Goddess Nita Strauss. I love watching her anytime.
This man was a great wordsmith, he wrote many more good songs than most can remember and his sense of theatre combined with music is worth considerable respect.
I don't consider myself a huge fan of Alice, though I know a lot of the songs having grown up in the 70's and 80's. A friend of mine had a couple extra tickets to a concert a couple years ago so I figured what the heck and the wife and I went. It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to, such a good time. The band of course is incredible, and stage antics are great, and it made me remember just how many hits Alice has had over the years. What a great showman. If you've never seen his show live, you really need to at least once, it will not disappoint.
I seen Alice Cooper in concert several years ago at SIU ( SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY) Carbondale, Illinois. Always one of my favorite artist and a great stage performer.
Nita is always awesome, but I gotta say so is the bass player Chuck Garric. Saw his band Beasto Blanco open for Lord of the Lost and they were awesome.
We're not worthy. I'm not a great fan, but enjoy a few of his songs. A good few years ago I saw an interview he did for an Aussie TV show, and he came across as a really decent guy, wish him all the best.
Always loved Alice Cooper! However, I’ll bet if he knew he was going to have to sing the same song for the next 50 years he might have written something else! 🤣
Bruce still does BTR, The Who still do WGFA, Stones still do Satisfaction, Paul still does Get Back, Elton still does SNARFF, AC/DC still do WLR to name a few. And we want to hear those songs, especially if you were around when they first came out.
immortal so much more starlight than seeger or kid rock or slim shady= the no guitar solo or drum solo more hip hop slop flop,, eeeeememne @ jack white is maybe 2nd????not close to Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper always puts on a brilliant live performance 🤟...I saw them at SwedenRock in Solvesberg in June 2024 😎
Me too, cranked up the volume to 11, those poor neighbours. 😂 Blessings from South Africa.

Nita Strauss!🎸😍💕🎶
Vince has still got it! Love seeing the woman rocking in his band!!!
Absolutely brilliant superb showman ,superb artist,
I was at school when this first came out 😢
Glad to see Nita back with the band. Amazing how Alice looks since I saw him in high school back in the early 70’s. The man doesn’t age at all.
The strong makeup surely helps ^^
@ ha,he’s always worn that heavy makeup on stage. Yea he’s getting up there but he still puts on a great show.
I remember seeing Alice back in 1977, still has it and never gets old.
The world is a happier place thanks to showmen like Alice Cooper. Long may he continue.
This guy just doesn't age
He's rocking just as hard now as in 75 (when i first heard his music).
Love the Coop!
One of my first LPs. ❤I remember the disc was covered by a pink coloured slip, made of thin paper😅
Did you also have a poster that came with it? I remember mine came with a small poster of Alice( naked),draped in a satin sheet.
@ Nope!

First 7" single I ever bought 1972....
First single and then first album . Nita Strauss is bon fire here.
Think poison was one of my favourites, be what, early 90s.
Man o man, to think Killer was the 2nd 8 track i purchased back in the day.
WOW!
Amazing
That's ROCK AND ROLL
I bet he didn't think he'd still be playing this song live 50 years later...
Pretty sure that was Ben Stiller on rhythm guitar
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤
Nita rocks.
Даст ист Фантастиш!
Alice Cooper is doing Pink Floyd.

What are u on about 1972 classic song ahead of his time like bowie etc
This song alone will have kept him in golf clubs for many years.
He might have tried harder to 'find a word that rhymes'...
Alice is like 75??????
Fast car
hmmm. 3 guitar players and a bass. maybe i never really looked.
STILL THE SHIT IN 2O24!!!!!!!!!!!
Ridicule.🤣
Arianthi was a way better guitarist in my opinion....
