- Israeli Military Tanks Encircle Gaza City's Shejaia District, Residents Trapped Inside Houses
Israeli forces advanced further into the Shejaia neighbourhood in northern Gaza and moved deeper into western and central Rafah in the south, killing at least six Palestinians and destroying several homes, according to residents. Tanks, which re-entered Shejaia four days ago, fired shells at several houses, trapping families inside. Prime Minister Netanyahu reiterated his stance that victory over Hamas is essential. He stated, "We are committed to fighting until we achieve all our objectives: eliminating Hamas, returning all hostages, ensuring Gaza is no longer a threat to Israel, and securing our residents in the south and north." Meanwhile, in the West Bank, an Israeli strike near Tulkarm killed one man and wounded five others, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
