There was a superiority ethos amongst bangali population some 100-150 years ago. Bengal was one of most prominent state: culturally, economically and intellectually. Bengal was one of Industrial hub of United India. We see many intellectuals came from Bengal. Rabindrnaath Tagore, Subhashchandra Bose and many more. Bengali population was very nationalist. But they were systematically cut down to size during British time. I think this superiority still very much ingrained in Bangladeshi population. Practically Bangladesh has no enemy and that’s biggest peace dividend a country has. It’s unfortunate for Bangladesh to carve out enemy from a friend. However they come to India for study, tourism and for medical purposes. But I really don’t understand why they dislike India. There was a superiority ethos amongst bangali population some 100-150 years ago. Bengal was one of most prominent state: culturally, economically and intellectually. Bengal was one of Industrial hub of United India. We see many intellectuals came from Bengal. Rabindrnaath Tagore, Subhashchandra Bose and many more. Bengali population was very nationalist. But they were systematically cut down to size during British time.
I think this superiority still very much ingrained in Bangladeshi population. Practically Bangladesh has no enemy and that’s biggest peace dividend a country has. It’s unfortunate for Bangladesh to carve out enemy from a friend. Problematic for India but disaster for Bangladesh.

We refuse to be the junior partner in a exploitative relationship. We offer friendship on equal terms. We refuse to be India's backyard for its sphere of influence. Compared to India: Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Maldives are smaller countries. But we are Independent States with the right to chart our own futures as per the will of our people. No matter the size, we are sovereign members in the family of nations. We are entitled to the same rights and equality as all other nations. Therefore we will not tolerate a "big brother attitude" from any country. In the case of Bangladesh, India should stop seeing it from the myopic lense of the Awami League. Rather engage in people to people exchanges.
About the superiority ethos of Bengali people. We are in-fact a greater, better and richer than any single Indian peoples. Do you think we were only a cultural, industrial and economical hub only 100-150 years ago? No!! We have been that for thousands of years. Before the arrival of the British, India was the richest land in the world and Bengal was the richest land on India. As we were for most of human history. Bengal was specifically called Paradise on earth by Mughal emperors who owned all of India. Tell me, Has Bengal only produced Rabindranath Tagore and Subhash Chandra Bose? Why so? Because they had a British education?! No, We have produced such golden people in throughout all ages who have contributed to the human heritage in various fields! The British didn't bring any good for us. They looted us! They turned us from the richest nation in human civilization to one of the poorest. In only the plunder of 1757, The British stole so much wealth from Bengal that it kick-started their industrial revolution. Their policies of divide and rule and stealing from others plague the mindsets of our people to this day. But we are gradually healing and moving away from this colonial mindset.
The ingrained superiority of the Bengali people over all other peoples in this subcontinent isn't because what we had only a century or two ago. That's not enough time to develop such a complex. But it is the product of thousands of years of cultural domination. Just look at the facts to see the truth: how do you think Bengalis as an ethnicity are only smaller than only the Mandarin and the Arabs. We are definitively greater than the Indian and other peoples of the world.

By blindly accepting the results of a blatantly fraudulent election where there is a single candidate and her stooges running, a non-existent voter turnout and rigged ballots. Crediting these elections as free and fair is an injustice to the Bangladeshi people, offering credibility to an autocrat who stole the mandate of the people is an injustice.
2) Yes. There are extremist elements in Bangladesh. There are Islamist extremist elements as well as leftist extremist elements. But none of these have perpetrated a genocide against their own countrymen. Awami League did that: Extra-judicial killings, forced disappearances, Massacres. India turned a blind eye while the rest of the world called out. Why because India deemed her regime as secular! Successive Indian governments were happy to work with these secular extremists because the personal and political interests of the leaders aligned. Like all extremists with time she became more and more cruel and detached from the people. All of which resulted in the July genocide. If only the Indian government cared even a little bit about their brotherly people of Bangladesh so much death and suffering could have been prevented.
What happened has already happened! The spirit of our monsoon revolution was the restoration of democracy, free speech, right to dignity and reformation of a shattered state. It is against any form of extremism. Where one group's will prevails above the others by force. We want a democratic discourse where all voices can freely speak. There will be leftist voices, there will be right wing voices, there will be Islamist voices, there will be secular voices, there will be progressive voices, there will be conservative voices. But everyone will be have the same freedoms as other people of this country.
3) Bangladesh is a small country. How can we take over Indian states? The British left us the most messiest border in the world. Which we want to expediently resolve. But we are a non-revisionist state. If we wanted to use force. Then we would have tried to take back enclaves inside India and destroyed those dams long ago. He does not mean we are going to attack them. He is just stating the facts. Whenever there is a conflict on the other side of the border, this side is also affected as well. Look at the border with Myanmar. An unstable Bangladesh will inevitably destabilize the seven sisters as well as West Bengal. Just like how unstable seven sisters is a threat for us. If you look at Bangladeshi media you may probably see more coverage of the Manipur conflict then the Indian media. Because the masters in Delhi don't much care about these parts. But we have to because it literally borders us.
4) US is meddling in our politics. Why? Because Professor Yunus is a Nobel laureate. Does India not have Nobel laureates. Are they stooges of any foreign governments? He is recognized worldwide and respected in Bangladesh. Because of his achievements. We can't ever really take out the US out of our equation. Because they are our largest export market. Our bread and butter comes from selling our products in the west. But in US base in Bangladesh is absolutely impossible! We can never do something that blatantly anti-Chinese. China is one of our biggest investors, trading and development partner. It is a shame that the same cannot be said about our relationship with India. Most Indians expect us to be loyal to them because of 1971 after 53 YEARS!! While never building up such vested point of interests with the people in the first place. How will we become like Pakistan? Pakistan has its own issues as we have ours. Nor are we the same people. That's why we fought to secede in the first place. Our paths are very different.
Regardless I thank you for your best wishes for us. I truly in a long time am optimist about my country's future. I truly believe there is no reason for Indians to be pessimistic either. As the road to prosperity lies in working together hand in hand. I asked the Indian people to give the people of Bangladesh a chance instead of relying on corrupt political elites.
