- Settler violence and Israeli military raids in the occupied West Bank have surged since October 7. Residents have been displaced, homes have been attacked and Palestinians have been killed and injured.
More than a dozen countries, including the United States, France, the United Kingdom and Australia have condemned the violence, and some have announced visa restrictions on anyone found to have taken part in the attacks.
But these restrictions miss a big loophole: dual nationals.
It is estimated that of the 700,000 settlers who live in occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank, at least 60,000 are also American citizens. People & Power investigates the role US citizens play in Israel’s settlement and military activities in the occupied Palestinian territory.

Could we have a rolling Global 'Minute for Palestine' (or 5 minutes) where people just stopped what they were doing, sat or stood & were silent ... including all businesses, schools, shopping, transport, etc. for that time. At about the 20 min mark, the man said his ancestors were exiled from Palestine 2000 years ago. That exile NEVER HAPPENED. Rome never exiled anyone from Palestine. They sacked and pillaged Jerusalem. Maybe some other cities. There's a column in Rome depicting the Romans carrying off loot. Even a menorah is depicted. But ask yourself, If the people in Palestine were revolting for years (Jewish Revolts) and giving Rome so much of a headache, Why would Rome exile these problem people further into their empire to the West? Syria Palestina was just about the extent of the Roman empire. To exile them, wouldn't they have been told to make that turn to the East? Couple of miles and you're in another empire. Their problem now, right?
Now consider the hypothetical that they were taken into slavery... So the Romans allowed them to practice their illegal religion openly? Really? There's so many holes in the origin stories of European Jews. The falsehoods go back to the "Exodus".

Everywhere you look! I recently learned about a native tribe on the southern Arizona border who resisted but were forced to allow surveillance towers on their land. The border itself cuts right through their territory, the place they have occupied and never left for over 10,000 years. Since 9/11, they have been harassed as they travel from one part to another of their OWN lands. The electronic towers now looming over them were designed and built by Israelis.

The US government gives some generous tax exemptions to Israeli corporations in the US, while both governments are getting money from the American taxpayers. American citizens will always come last. It's chilling to know that IDF abuse has been going on for years and Israel has been bombing Gaza repeatedly for decades, long before Oct 7th. There are "lone soldier" programs for American Jews (& European) for non-Israeli citizens to participate in IDF.
The settlers have been further armed. Who gets to jump in next to commit murder? What about the Israeli trackteam?
