Yeah man that’s why I jailbroke my switch. Half of the top games on this system right now are just remastered downgrades from other consoles. “Wanna play your least favourite PlayStation or steam game with 1/10th of the graphics and performance🎉 that’ll be double the price thanks”
Forgotten memories was originally being built for the Wii U but that systems life fell short, devs didn’t give up they rebooted the remake project for the Swich and years later they finally released it. Been following them on Facebook as they interact with the community! Will push the switch graphics to the max! Definitely worth a buy. Maybe do a tech review on it?
Been playing Farmagia and so far it’s actually pretty fun and holds up well on the switch! It didn’t receive a lot of coverage but it’s definitely gonna be a hidden gem especially on the physical side, cheers guys!
I just hope Mario and Luigi don’t force tutorials on us. I remember when the originals would ask if we want to learn how to do a move, I’d say no, and it still makes me practice!
It’s not just a Mario and Luigi thing. But yeah I really dislike when I understand something and it’s just ok, well let’s learn how to do this…. No, I already know, let me go on with the game 😅
Tinkertown looks interesting, otherwise nothing else really catches my eye. I picked up Doom+Doom II during the Halloween sale and have been hooked. Finished the first one last night. Almost 40 and never actually played a Doom game before. Crazy how well these games hold up.
I picked up Slime 3K: Rise Against Despot which came out on the 31st Oct. Had a great time playing it in early access on Steam and looking forward to playing the full release on the Switch. It's a horde survival game (ala Vampire Survivors) set in the Despot's game universe, and is priced accordingly at
BioFrame Outpost, a science-based, exploration-focused metroidvania where photography is a huge part of the gameplay, coming out a month after Exographer, a science-based, exploration-focused metroidvania where photography is a huge part of the gameplay, is a hell of a coincidence. Hopefully this is smoother. I really wanted to like Exographer and I'll go back to see if the more egregious issues have been patched, but there was a lot of jank.
There's been a few "retro revamps" lately where I loved the cut scene art, but the moment to moment gameplay just looked "meh"... River City Saga is the OPPOSITE! I just love those sprites so much! I first saw them on the NES football game, where you can score goals from the halfway line x
I’m not one for pixel art, but Tinkertown looks fun. Kind of looks like a 2D Minecraft of sorts. The Alchemist of Ars Magna seems interesting, but at that price I’d definitely need to see gameplay to decide if it’s good.
Yeah but theres already a ton other games like tinkertown where u can play with friends inside a pixel world. And like many other switch games it has already been on steam and on there the reviews are mixed at 66% so seems like an ez skip for launch. Most likely to hit really cheap at some point too.
I'm getting stuck into the Castlevania DLC for Vampire Survivors this weekend, which means no other games will get a look in. Brothership looks great though, I do like the Mario & Luigi RPGs.
As you said some of these games are $110 in our region (AU) and as a pensioner they are out of my price range. And it’s no better buying through the USA shop because the exchange rate they charge when you buy a card for that region means you have to wait for a big sale anyway. I’m so careful about what games I buy because I have to play with both axis inverted and I’ve been burned a few times, buying a game then not being able to play it. I’m sure I drive people nuts asking all the time if both axis can be inverted but with the ridiculous price of games now it really matters.
I see you, I had this same problem with inverted axis, just wanted to say that you can learn to play the other way, I thought it was impossible but it wasn’t! A little bit frustrating at the beginning maybe, but soon you get used to it, give it a try if you feel like it 😊
@ thank you for suggesting that 🙂 I tried when I bought Red Dead Redemption 2, for two weeks I gave it my best shot. Lots of tears, swearing and the controller almost got thrown at the TV, so I gave up. Sadly at nearly 70 years old and over 40 years of playing this way I don’t think my brain can rewire itself on this. 🙂
So many great games on sale. Is it worth it to wait for Black Friday sales or just dive in now? I am mostly interested in indie games rather than the big Nintendo games. Thanks for the great reviews by the way! You guys are my go-to Switch game reviewers!!
I think Mario and Luigi and possibly Metal Slug Tactics depending on how well it reviews. Awfully tempted by Kill Knight that came out a month or so ago. (Had to go back to your reviews to find the name of it)
Forgotten Memories looks nice, but I'm still stuck on Astlibra & sequel, then I've got to play through the early Xenoblade games in time for X, so onto the wishlist it goes. Ars Magna looks interesting, too, but I'm not picking it up at less than 60% off.
You guys recommended ASTLIBRA as the best jrpg ‘you never heard of’. My god this game rocks, the combat is fantastic and I want to thank you guys for mentioning this amazing piece of art!
Imma grab the metal slug tactics cause I like those kind of game 😊.I'm so stoked for Mario and Luigi been a huge fan since the Gameboy advance one loved the coffee machine in that game that gave you stat boots so awesome
As an Aussie I share your feelings on game costs, Lego Horizon Adventures for example, is $109.99 for both PS5 and Switch in digital and physical editions. Its ludicrous and makes gaming an expensive hobbie to enjoy when you need to prioritise living over luxury as an adult and near impossible to afford as a child saving up their pocket money/allowance. 😢
6:44 hahaha... your landlord example is spot on here Glen. Inflation pretty much hit every industry, but hey, either it's paying your rent or looking at anime boobies. You can't have both these days. 😅
I just wish the Mana Khemnia games come to switch. We didnt even have an official english release for 2 and Im very bitter about that. Also, that alchemy one is too expensive. It should be over the top amazing then but with just the visual novel espect being shown, Im not holding my breath it'd be good
Interested in Mario & Luigi, yet will be waiting for a bit, since just started Yakuza Kiwanis & still playing Echoes of Wisdom & other games too. Not sure if it was covered, so just wanted to mention Slay the Princess is amazing adventure/VN game. It is a bit horror/spooky themed, it’s still a solid story and already out. Thanks for all the great videos!
damn you Nintendo, what are you doing it to me? I just started getting into Megaton Musashi, Ys X, and picked up Farmagia today. Now we have Mario, Metal Slug and more coming next week!
Good grief, The Beast Inside has had an almost embarrassing drop in visual quality compared to its PC equivalent (which regularly goes on sale for as little as £1.99). I'm sure the Switch is more capable than that. More positively, Metal Slug Tactics looks absolutely superb. I really hope it lives up to the hype!

Can you review god eater 3 on switch
Waiting for the Metal Slug review 🎉
Do you know many hours of gameplay?
Video game industry may soon hit a slump if prices keep going up. Sadly quality is not going up with cost.
Just have to only buy them used or on sale in the future
@@rilstrup83 I barely buy any new games on launch. I just put them on my wish list and wait for a massive sale.
Yeah man that’s why I jailbroke my switch. Half of the top games on this system right now are just remastered downgrades from other consoles.

Metal Slug Tactics almost looks worth it for the visuals alone! So clean.
I’m sure Mario & Luigi will be great, and I’ve definitely got my eye on Metal Slug Tactics. There’s something about it that really appeals to me!
Tinkertown is no where to be found in the Eshop doesn’t come up in the recent releases or search bar
Been playing Farmagia and so far it’s actually pretty fun and holds up well on the switch! It didn’t receive a lot of coverage but it’s definitely gonna be a hidden gem especially on the physical side, cheers guys!
Yeah hoping to cover that at some point. Mark
@@SwitchUpYt I hope so, myself like many others actually trust and respect your switch reviews 🫡
waiting for tinkertown review, I hope theres a splitscreen or local co op on that game
I m getting tinkertown , that s for sure.😊
A pretty varied selection this week. Looking forward to some reviews!
Metal slug tactics and brothership in the same week, damn!
Oh definitely that last one! I will definitely be downloading the demo tonight!
I just hope Mario and Luigi don’t force tutorials on us. I remember when the originals would ask if we want to learn how to do a move, I’d say no, and it still makes me practice!

Appreciate you guys always letting us know what's coming out. I wouldnt know three quarters of these games if not for you.
Bio frame and the last one seem right up my alley.
Mario and Luigi was on pre order direct after the announcement 😉 biomutant outpost and tinkertown both look very interesting as well
I've just bought Dave the Diver, physical edition, so I look forward to playing it.
Tinkertown looks interesting, otherwise nothing else really catches my eye. I picked up Doom+Doom II during the Halloween sale and have been hooked. Finished the first one last night. Almost 40 and never actually played a Doom game before. Crazy how well these games hold up.
Mixed reviews on steam for Tinkertown. Doesn’t seem worth it after looking it up.
Metal Slug Tactics is one that I await the reviews of with interest. Looks right up my street.
I picked up Slime 3K: Rise Against Despot which came out on the 31st Oct. Had a great time playing it in early access on Steam and looking forward to playing the full release on the Switch. It's a horde survival game (ala Vampire Survivors) set in the Despot's game universe, and is priced accordingly at
Will you you be reviewing Metal Slug Tactics? I hope you will.
Same! It looks fun
I'm wondering how many hours of gameplay the game offers and if there is a stage editor.
BioFrame Outpost, a science-based, exploration-focused metroidvania where photography is a huge part of the gameplay, coming out a month after Exographer, a science-based, exploration-focused metroidvania where photography is a huge part of the gameplay, is a hell of a coincidence.

Sounds awful 😂

Might order metal slug tactics, then get a surprise 2 years down the road from limited run games when it arrives.
Definitely will look at picking up M&L. It’s a bloody miracle this series is alive again.
Oohh was this week the metal slug tactics release? Well im already playing 10 thing so the queue it goes 😂
I picked up Mario & Luigi as a 2nd part of my nintendo voucher which was purchased with buying credit on your website.
Uhh Bioframe Outpost looks great! I love metroidvanias. I love exploring and I often prefer a more relaxed experience these days!
Waaah! So many good games coming out! Will wait for the SwitchUp reviews before I get anything 😂
Great week ahead, I’ll be picking up Mario and Luigi and metal slug tactics for sure!
Metal Slug Tactics and
Mario Bros Brothership.
I hope they are good!
I'm getting stuck into the Castlevania DLC for Vampire Survivors this weekend, which means no other games will get a look in. Brothership looks great though, I do like the Mario & Luigi RPGs.
Oh!? I love Castlevania, I'll have to try Vampire Survivors again.
Metal Slug Tactics? This was unexpected, I’m very curious about it! Waiting for Switchup review 😊
Awesome week again thank you
Where tfv is tinker town on the nintendo shop
Thanks Glen. Forgotten Memories looks interesting. Thanks man!
Something about Tinkertown looks so inviting and reminiscent of some old RPGs I used to play. Can't wait to try that bad boy
Waiting for it too, ticks most of my boxes for creating and fighting in a more "chilled" manner.
You're slowly consuming my sunday nights. First it was just the sales videos and now I'm catching up on the videos throughout the week while waiting.
Bioframe Outpost looks good, along with Brothership and Metal Gear, expensive run up to Christmas.
River City Saga Next looks pretty interesting. Thanks for the video.
The pricing for new games in Canada is crazy these days. After taxes it's over $100 easy
M&L: Superstar Saga was one of my favourite games on the GBA, so a new game in the series has me thrilled!
As you said some of these games are $110 in our region (AU) and as a pensioner they are out of my price range. Sounds like the Vampire Survivors DLC is pretty sick.
So many great games on sale. Is it worth it to wait for Black Friday sales or just dive in now? I am mostly interested in indie games rather than the big Nintendo games. Thanks for the great reviews by the way! You guys are my go-to Switch game reviewers!!
Bioframe Outpost looks interesting 🤔
I’m gonna need to see a tinkertown review. Missed out on the core keeper review!
LRG is advertising Metal Slug Tactics as “roguelite” but your video is saying 110 handcrafted levels. I’m slightly confused
I think Mario and Luigi and possibly Metal Slug Tactics depending on how well it reviews.
Awfully tempted by Kill Knight that came out a month or so ago. (Had to go back to your reviews to find the name of it)
Forgotten memories finally came out on switch! Will have to check that out
I’ve been avoiding any tactics rpgs until Metal Slug Tactics. I have a feeling it’s going to sink its claws into me, can’t wait!
Might grab Metal Slug Tactics, but if I'm being honest this weeks big release for me is Planet Coaster 2 on PS5
Metal slug looks great!
It's another pretty good week for games. Hope everyone gets some time to play something 😅😊
Meat Slug and Tinkertown seem interesting, but I have bought a lot of games recently and need to get at the backlog.
Imma grab the metal slug tactics cause I like those kind of game 😊.I'm so stoked for Mario and Luigi been a huge fan since the Gameboy advance one loved the coffee machine in that game that gave you stat boots so awesome
Is metal slug tactics in the thumbnail? Is that finally out?
That’s coming yep

In Brazil a new game costs R$350 to 400 and the minimum wage is R$1400...
It's a test run to see if they can sell games at that price. Just wait. More and more games are going to be priced like that in the future if it sells
89 AUD for the Switch physical at Jbhifi.
I have a hard on for metal slug tactics but I need to hear on reviews with how long it took to release
Will u review alnatroz btw?
Hope Metal Slug has a good story that's not overly predictable. I'm cautiously optimistic for it.
Thx for reminding me on metal slug 😊👍👍
Would you like to do a review for the game Wall World?
The game is currently 50% in America and I think that is heavily underrated
6:44 hahaha... your landlord example is spot on here Glen.
Inflation pretty much hit every industry, but hey, either it's paying your rent or looking at anime boobies. You can't have both these days. 😅

Forgotten memories is great ,, have it on IOS ,, with headphones it’s really good
Will you review Farmagia?
Please give farmagia a review
+1 to hoping Metal Slug Tactics is good!
Metal Slug meets XCom ❤❤❤
Metal Slug Tactics 😎
Interested in Mario & Luigi, yet will be waiting for a bit, since just started Yakuza Kiwanis & still playing Echoes of Wisdom & other games too.
Not sure if it was covered, so just wanted to mention Slay the Princess is amazing adventure/VN game. It is a bit horror/spooky themed, it’s still a solid story and already out.
Thanks for all the great videos!
If I spent $108.99 on a video game then I'd also have to eat it!
Metal slug and brothership in the same week! Lucky us!
damn you Nintendo, what are you doing it to me? I just started getting into Megaton Musashi, Ys X, and picked up Farmagia today. Now we have Mario, Metal Slug and more coming next week!
"Haitch Pee" 😂😂😂
Bro has never heard a non-US accent before
Also "Nine Sols" might be coming to Switch end of this month.
A new river city game!! I still need to get the last one🤦
I'm getting into old school survival horror and am eyeing forgotten memories. Anyone tried it?
4:02 damnit Atlus just give us River City Ransom EX back!!!
Please review the new microids Totally Spies game!
Some bloody interesting titles in there...........or your regional equivalent.
I hope we get a review of Metal Slug Tactics, it looks delightful but these days that doesn’t tell you anything. 😂
Nice 👍
Here we go let’s see if I can avoid putting games on my ever growing back log
6:13 "wah"
I might’ve been interested in the Mario & Luigi game, if only it wasn’t turn based 🤦♂️
DQ3 HD2D in two weeks ❤
Gah, first Ys X comes out, now Mario & Luigi... Which to pick, which to choose... Decisions, decisions XD
If I had to choose I’d be Ys X because I think that’ll run out of print copies sooner than M&L
Put Bioframe and Metal slug on my list
Metal Gear Slug on the list
I tried to find Tinkertown. Do y'all know if something happened to it?
Been meaning to ask, why is the new games video music always so somber and sad?
Ars Magan will clearly don't sell well with that price tag lol. Whay they did think ?
Let's goooo 🎉
