Primeape is my favorite Fighting Type. And very nice unique strategies for the best for last. You literally *fought* your way thru the league. N hope things get much better for you this year.
Chizzy, I learned that the AI does not take defensive type matchups into account when switching in a new Pokémon in generation 3. It selects Pokémon only on the basis of who can deal the most damage to the current Pokémon you have out in a single hit. (Whoever has a super effective move against you, then whoever can do the most calculated damage if there's no super effective hit).
This is wrong. It's decided by what mons have super effective moves (including status moves) against your current Mon. Don't ask me why, but if it has multiple mons with super effective moves, it will send in the one with the worst defensive typing. The Emerald Kaizo nuzlocke community figured this out, and even made a spreadsheet that can calc what Pokemon swaps in next. If nobody has a super effective move, it checks what moves the last Mon had, and sends in something that has stab on those moves, if none do, it sends them in in the order that they were written in the code
when I played my second play through of this I used a heracross in the league against Steven. My whole team was weak to at least one of mewtwos moves. I sent out heracross and lived on 7 hp and then crit mewtwo with megahorn. Never count out my fav non-legendary Pokemon :)
I was happy to see nearly all of my favorite pokemon make the team's on this kaizo mono run the only pokemon that didn't make it was Breloom which I can understand but I think the best part about this series was the fact that every single bug that wasn't mono bug in the bug video made it to the team in every other type they where because people said that bugs are useless and the entire team made another appearence that had another type
Now time for Radical Red mono type elite four challenge . I am more excited for Radical Red mono type challenges because we have a ton of great options to pick and a lot of new moves ,IV's , EV's , ability , hidden ability ,megas and so many new features

I've never been someone who plays pokemon this hardcore etc, taking the time for the right IVs, Natures, etc, but your content has been fantastic. 10/10. And this, this run was incredible, I genuinely thought that this might be the first time you can't beat it, but you freaking did, and without relying on Quick Claw for a lot of it. I know they're 100x more work than E4 challenge stuff, but 50 minute+ videos are the best ever.
