It's been 5 long months since the last one... but we're FINALLY back with another FULL gameplay of Pokemon Radical Red!!! The (still) hot, trending and my personal favorite ROM Hack recently released a "2.2B" update, featuring tons of new upgrades and changes. The game is so different and somehow so much better, and the Mono Poison video did SO well (thanks to you guys) that I decided to run it back... this time with Electric Types!

For grass I recommend grass surge Maractus and grass pelt Gogoat with set up moves you can wall pretty much any physical attacker!

Congrats on 50K Chizzy. I've been here since the first Emerald Kaizo playthrough and I'm glad you're getting the recognition you deserve :)
Mono Ice playthrough would be nice to see since the matchup for the gyms are actually quite challenging. But RR gave Ice so many toys to play with that they are the definition of Hyper Offense and I would like to see what you would do with them !
Edit: or stall, which is actually surprisingly good. Dewgong, Walrein, Alolan-Sandslash and Avalugg are amazing pokemon especially under hail, the last two especially since they will almost always never get ohko'd with a special and physical move respectively.
Yup, id imagine hail offense is actually half decent in this rom hack!

I’ve almost finished my first play through of RR and it’s been a blast. Never in a Pokémon game have I had so many “bench” Pokémon so that I can create a different team of 6 for certain fights. Hyper offense+Dual Screens is my bread and butter team but I have stall and balance teams ready as well

Hi Chizzy, just wanna say I really enjoy these videos! It's fascinating watching you play through these games, especially with challenges like these. Mono type runs are always a favorite of mine to watch, and the way you play them is so much more strategic than I usually find! These vids have actually inspired me to do my own monotype run of Radical Red with Ice types (Spoiler: It's miserable lmao). Keep up the awesome work!

tbh the highlight of rhis run for me is ampharos purely bc i myself am what they call,,, an ampharos stan, and by that i mean i used ampharos for the first time in a soulsilver nuzlocke, tanked an earthquake while taking less than half health in damage, got consistent OHKOs on half the pokemon i fought via Magnet-powered discharge, and the feeling of power it gave me was immense.

Btw theres a cheat that allows you to pull up your PC box anywhere in fire red.
I find it useful when I want to switch up mons or heal quickly even while training
Try to beat radical red mono-fairy, probably easy but chalengin' too

It's hard if you don't know what's coming
Due to bosses having insane coverage against most types, I don't think fairy will be that easy, although it will be easy compared to other types

The elite four will be super easy as, he swept it with a frickin luvdisc

Poison is my favorite type because Gengar is my favorite pokemon (specifically the shiny mega form) and ghost is a *VERY* close second followed by ground and steel, loved the mono poison run gave it a thumbs up as soon as i saw it in my recommended

Anyone who hasn't played it yet, DEFINITELY read the documentation first and see which pokemon became more viable, because so many did. Meganium got triage as an ability and the grass fairy type, electivire got iron fists and the fighting type with Mach punch and plasma fists. So many dope buffs.

If anybody dont know, there is a guy in lavendar who will ev train for 2000pokedollar and exp train for 10k. His all pokemon only uses memento.

New Chizzy video using on of my favourite Pokémon, Electivire? Hell yeah!
If you do a water monotype, a good strategy would be getting a pokemon with rain dance and a pokemon with swift swim, preferably mega swampert. If you activate rain with damp rock, the rain lasts longer and swampert's speed is doubled for longer. So you can just power up punch a few times, and outspeed everything else.
