Hi Steve! I found you today and I watched two videos on the Ariya. I´ve been the happy owner of one for 5 weeks. I absolutely adore this car, both outside and inside. I've been struggling with parking once it is bigger than any of my previous cars and the automatic gear still gets to me... but I'm learning. When I found your videos today, I was really looking for a video that can teach me how to spare the battery. Can you give me some tips, please? As I almost never leave the city, the seller told me to choose Eco and B... when I go to the road, I must go on D. It is also obvious to anyone that the less I accelerate, the less the battery "suffers". Are there any other tips you can share? Thank you in advance. P.S. I have the "63 kWh 4x2 Engage C 22kW" version.
Hey Dora, glad you're enjoying the Ariya so far! Those are some good tips that you've been given. I tend to drive in either Eco or just normal drive modes, but just be sure you aren't accelerating too fast and keep yourself at highway speed too. If you don't blast A/C or heat, you'll get increase range as well as they both draw additional power. I'll look at putting together a video on how to improve EV range!
@@CarsWithSteve First EV but been looking at them for years. Was going to go for the Model Y, but the Ariya won me over. Interior is so much more luxurious feeling too!
I was surprised that Nissan didn't make more of a push with EVs when Tesla started taking off. If they can find a way to lower the price of this by 10k or increase the performance in the higher trims they could be onto something
Thanks! I think it's a well designed EV overall just needs a few changes to get one that more people would consider. Have you already jumped in EV ownership or thinking about it for your next ride?
We got one 3 weeks ago. First full EV after a BMW Plug in hybrid. The Ariya is a fun car to drive , super snappy! We got the evolve+ eforce in black :) 389 HP 😮
@univenpecalipre nice! Evolve e-4orce in Aurora green (or Northern lights as its called somewhere) is my dream car. I test drove so many and Ariya was the most comfortable and so quiet.
We just bought one 2 days ago!!!
Nice! What build did you end up going for? And curious... first time you've owned an EV?

You nailed it with the interior.. Nissan has done such a great job on the interior of this car. Hope the new ride treats you well!
A mass market Leaf Nissan lead the way. Unfortunately verse Tesla Y this has a steep hill to climb.

@@CarsWithSteve Your review did an excellent service. To be honest I would have never considered this vehicle.
