Exceptional video Steve. I have a new 2025 Aviator and this video explains and clears up so many questions. And is so much better than trying to negotiate a 570+ page digital owners manual. THANKS!
Finally! I was getting so mad that my park assist was either not working or faulty, lincoln didn't even take out the park assist button! I swear your so helpful!
@@CarsWithSteve It's a huge upgrade from my old CX-9. the interiors are lit and the drive feels luxurious. Still learning the tricks though so the video is super helpful!
So glad I stumbled across this video today, it's great so far! We bought ours on the 2nd and due to weather and other circumstances, have barely gotten to know it, so this is coming in very handy, far better than the others I've watched. Anyone want to buy my 2006 Town Car!?
@@CarsWithSteve I had a 2021, but now have a 25. With all of the changes, it’s nice to see it all summarized in a detailed video. I shared it with the fb Lincoln page that I follow.
@@CarsWithStevelove them, especially map on dash, new HUD, google system and larger screen. I miss the deletion of fog lights and kick to open. I also liked my radio favorites combined instead of having to hit the screen to go between sources. When hitting the massage button on the door, it goes to the seat controls, then you have to hit massage. I liked it better when you hit the massage button that it went directly to the massage seat controls. Love the blue cruise. 😊
The added map in the cluster was a great addon, and I'm loving BlueCruise in all the Lincoln/Ford vehicles I review as well. Funny how you notice all the small details but glad that you're enjoying it otherwise. Hope this new one treats you well!
Steve, you know I'm a Lincoln fan, and this review of the Aviator is great. But I have to confess I'm eagerly awaiting your review of the updated 2025 Navigator once they make it available.
The upgrade to a similar style as the new Nautilus has me excited for sure! Most likely won't be able to get into one until the new year but I'll have my usual long and short videos highlight it. Think you'll end up upgrading at some point?
@@CarsWithSteve I may upgrade, but my usual car buying strategy is to buy a "certified" one that's a couple of years old. You get the balance of the factory warranty, and the first owner is the one who's taken the big hit on depreciation. I want to hear honest reviews on the new Navigator first.
Such a great strategy.. and I think that could actually make for an interesting video. A New vs Used debate.. Hmm.. I have some more space at my place now so I've been thinking of doing a little studio setup and a video like that could be a fun way to launch it
@@CarsWithSteve There's also something to be said for the old bit of received wisdom that one should avoid buying a vehicle in the first year of a new body style. It takes a model year to shake out all unforeseen issues that come up when you adapt a production line to a new vehicle design. I like the idea of Cars With Steve doing some conversational, studio-based episodes. It'd really show your range.
How would you describe the handling in Excite mode in comparison to a BMW X5 or Acura MDX Type S? I've driven the BMW and Acura but not the Lincoln yet. I hear that the BMW and Acura are more "sport" oriented like tighter around the corners than the Lincoln. Your thoughts?
Wish I could tell you how they all compare. I haven’t driven the X5 in 10+ years and haven’t been able to review the MDX yet, but I’m getting it for a week in the new year.

Thanks Gerald, glad the video helped! How are you enjoying the Aviator so far?
Indeed! Why the HELL do we not get a real owner's manual! Cheap, Lincoln, really cheap!

It’s so odd that they have it just for finding parking spots instead! Haha. Ah well, glad the video helped
I just bought an aviator and this is exactly what I needed! Great work Steve!
Thanks Aditya, glad the video helped! Is it the first time that you've owned a Lincoln?
@ Yes!!
That's exciting! How are you liking it so far?

Phew, just a bit of an upgrade there! Hope the new ride treats you well

Wow, a move from the ‘06 town car to this is a huge jump. How are you enjoying the Aviator so far? Good to hear the video has helped!
This is the best detailed review ever! I have a 2025 aviator and learned a few things thanks!
Thanks so much Tina! Is it the first time that you've owned a Lincoln?

Usually a good idea for sure. To the drawing board I go ;)
Do any of the trims have a digital rear view mirror?
Auto-dimming yes but not digital using a rear mounted camera

Does it have any option to see the tachometer in the cluster?
Not a traditional tach but the 19:00 min mark of the video shows you how to add in an RPM display
