We have raced the 2wd 1/12 buggy the FTX Comet. We have had lots of fun running the FTX Vantage and now we have 2 FTX DR8 1/8th scale 6S lipo compatible monsters to play with...
The summer is almost here and it is time to start playing with the big cars.
We have lots planned and we have dusted of these monsters for a blast over at the park to check the cars are ready for the summer... Bring on the sunshine. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
I've seen these DR8 on skateparks flying very bloody high and get battered and they don't break.
Mine does not fly quite so well as I tend to crash it rather than fly it
The DR8 is a great buggy @ an even better price, everone should have one.

Broke mine again today, the shock arm pulled out of the mounting joint. I have ordered the Rear Shock Tower upgrade, a set of springs (I lost one) and a set of Shock mounting bits as I lost a shock spring collar. Back in action next week hopefully. Would love to meet up with my DR8 if you have a meet up again for them.
We will see what we can sort out
The Vantage is the outright best FTX. Buggies are just the most versatile, as easy as a tyre change and a tinker with the ride height and you've got great on road and off road capability. I really regret taking a stadium truck over a buggy, the buggy is just so much more transportable too. I really have to plan where I'm taking a 10th scale truck compared to a buggy
Agreed the Vantage is amazing we have raced them in various terrains and our brushless modified Vantage is insane.
But….
Our local council is not great at cutting the grass and the DR8 can cope with the longer grass
Got a Reely Raptor 6S on the way. Second hand purchase. Looking forward to getting it prepped and out
They are great … some people get them and don’t realise how quick they are for such a reasonable price …

I'm tempted but after hearing they were £50 cheaper only a couple of months ago it doesn't seem quite so appealing now.
These cars certainly started off much cheaper but the quality is well worth the money, haven’t had any breakages as yet🤞
@@PopalongRC Cool. I since found that another site has them for £369 and then was made aware that one site has the red one at £334. Sorely tempted at that price although every site is out of stock on the upgraded aluminium rear shock tower.
