    I’ve being watching your vids as I am looking at purchasing one I’d these I think the value offered is excellent. I already own a FTX carnage and love that. However I can’t seem to find many upgrade or even replacement parts offered for the DR8

      Now then, a fellow Yorkshireman.
      I have found that at the moment a lot of the parts for all RC cars are out of stock, in short supply or have long wait times if you order anything. I did the same research before buying my DR8 and the parts were easily available at Otley Modelsport and cheaper than the parts for other brands so I don't expect the lack of parts to continue once life gets back to normal.
      I've been waiting for some RPM front arms for my Typhon 3s for 3 months and they're still on back order through Modelsport. If I need any parts for my Redcat model then I'm reduced to searching ebay or amazon for parts or buying Axial parts and hoping that they fiit.
      There seems to be a good enough supply of parts to keep a DR8 up and running even with my bad driving and a good community for help and advice for the FTX cars.

      @@rcweed4820 You know what I didn't think to try any of my Typhon parts on the DR8. I just finished putting the DR8 back together and it's fighting fit again. I then fitted RPM bumpers front bumpers and RPM rear skid plates on my Typhon, Kraton and Outcast as the RPM parts turned up along with the Mojave EXB today. I would like to know if the Typhon hub carriers fit the DR8 as I'd like some aluminium ones for the DR8.

    Can you give me the length of the arms and width at both ends front and rear , I have a nomad db8 and there so alike I’d like to see if I can inter change arms as you can no longer get parts for the team associated db8 nomad.

      Hi Curtis, I've just measured the arms and her are the measurements:
      Front lower arm is 81mm long and 50mm wide at the chassis end. The other end has the pivot ball screwed it to it so there's no real width at that end - it's as wide as the pivot ball.
      Rear arm is 112mm long, 48mm wide at the chassis end and 42mm wide at the wheel end.
      Of course if the dimensions are a good match for your Nomad DB8, you still need to know if the suspension mounts are in the same place but I suppose that can be adjusted.
      Hope this helps.

    Hi,,cannot fit 2×3s lipos in the tray of this buggy.My 4s is a tight squeeze.Battery tray too small.
    What do you use THANKS

      @pipnmaz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use either 2 x 3s HRB 5000mAh or 1 x 6s HRB 5000mAh in mine - it fits all of the biggest batteries I own in the battery tray of the DR8. I don't have any batteries which won't fit in this car. I could not use 2 x 3s hard case batteries as that would be too tall but all of my soft case batteries fit easily.
