That first dress was perfect. Fit her body so welll and was so so so beautiful. The last one she tried in was very pretty in a different way. To me it had a very Greek flare to it. I loved the back on it

I didn’t know that a dress that looks like the “Grecian goddess” type of dress, would ever be considered “Boho”. I wouldn’t have ever called that Boho… I liked the first dress better, but as long as she’s happy… glad her mom was able to be accepting of her choice!
Oh but the "Grecian goddess" is indeed the epitome of Boho. Because basically Boho is loose fitted dresses but still hug the body at the same time and with the modern additions of shawls or capes etc. I think the man is right this style is indeed the epitome of boho

This is the only show that has the most stunning Bridal Gowns. There is never anything Tacky or overstated in these gowns. The prices are never outrageous. If I was a bride ( I was one 40 years ago) haha this is the shop I would go to ❤

The fact that brides are told that they have to please everyone at their wedding. HEllo it's your wedding. Wear what you want. Have who you want. Eat what you want. It's your day. If people can't or won't accept it. They can lump it.

I thought all three dresses were beautiful in her, so it was interesting that she didn't feel herself in the second one. Love the attached cape on the third one! Loved that when asked if the dress was modest enough for her, mum said, " It's Celise."
If I ever got married again which is a long shot at 48.....I would want Gok to dress me. I absolutely adore Gok. I just wish these Mom's would understand that it isn't their choice and they had their moment. At least this Mom realized that.
As long as daughters are paying 100% for their own dresses, then they have 100% of the choice. Parents are not personal banks.
This mom is not the worst. Sometimes they need to see on the bride to be for her to realise that it doesn't really match her vision. Once she saw the bride's reaction, she knew that it wasn't it.

This shop has the most gorgeous dresses and the prices aren’t outrageous either. Gok always seems to nail it, doesn’t he? I live in Australia and, if I was getting married, it would be worth the airfare to go there for my dress!!

I understand her wanting a dress for herself, something that makes her feel like her, however the second dress wasn't a far cry from the first and she instantly didn't like it because she thought it too much of something her mom would like so it did kinda come off like she was being rebellious to everything even then. To be fair she looked specatacular regardless as both really did flatter her well.

That’s a gorgeous gown!
I really feel for this family and the struggles they are going through. It could not have been an easy decision for the daughter to make nor her family to accept but it seems like they have come through to the other side. A lot of families engaged in this struggle don't often make it in the end.

I agree. I feel like her narrative of her mom was a bit skewed and Gok even offered for her not to go down and of course she reacted sadly when she got the reaction she knew was coming from her mom.
Honestly, all family disagreements aside, I thought she looked beautiful in the second dress, and I don't usually like that style.
