You have to remember, this is a reality TV show, not just a bridal showcase. They need the drama. This is part of their formula. There are many brides out there who want to be the image of what they think their parents want too, so their family's opinions matter just as much to them, hence the conflict - and we cycle back to the formula of this show.

I’ve tried that first dress on before! I absolutely love Essence of Australia. It’s actually the designer I chose for my wedding dress. It’s crazy seeing a dress you’ve literally put in your body on the show. 😆
That first dress was amazing and suited for her. It sounds like the sisters were very very jealous. "Quite shocked" to see her like that since not used to it. Nobody is ever shocked to see a tom boy turn gorgeous! They are happy to see it!
TV shows are edited for dramatic effect. They have lived with her for a lifetime. You watched eight minutes of an edited video on one sliver of their life. Her family was very supportive, so why the negative read? Your perception of their reaction and the tired and trite reasoning of "jealousy" that everyone uses these days says more about your mindset. Maybe this is more about your past experiences than theirs.
