The only tragedy here is his arrogance and his selfishness, he was always that way always a beast on the inside and that is how he had to live and due, but in death he finally is a man.
Yeah. His dad was an AH. Like did he think it was going to go well splitting the kingdom, which is supposed to be passed on his the heir, into four kingdoms? 🤦♀️
I'm wondering, would the wisps be other people who got a wish from the witch what went wrong? Or his brothers? I think the olders brother would still choice the darker path. He was hungry for power and if you're in such a mind in a pixar or disney movie, you will never have enough. Thats just how the movies are.
Honestly, I think Mor’du wasn’t as in the right as this video would suggest. The short stated that Mor’du himself was the one who “mistook great strength for character,” and the war of succession that would lead to him becoming a bear would have happened even if the King left it to his Eldest, as his brothers would rebel against the Mad Berserker King on the throne.
All things considered that was inevitable. There was never a SINGLE time a great kingdom was split to the possible heirs and did not end in conflict, tragedy or both no matter how talented the successors would be. (in fact it might makes things worse because talent grows confidence and thus pride.) Never mind one that was made and held together by a single person for his strength and respect from the people, these things do not pass on to the next ruler. (at least not unless the next ruler in question has managed SOME feat of note, no matter how small.)
I understand the kings decision, splitting his kingdom in four parts equally to his 4 sons. But I think the eldest son would go down a dark path even if he hadn't taken the witch's potion. I think 3 of the wisps are his brothers trying to bring their brother down and free from being cursed of being a bear, so they can finally rest together
You might want to include the movies title in your title so it's easier to know where the villain comes from. Most people don't even remember this movie
The other three wisps could be his brothers trying to help him pass on from his horrible life.
That is true
Dang... that's deep
Don't forget his father
or his consions to try and make things right. at least for someone else if not for him to deserve love and peace.

"So he killed his three brothers" one sentence later "so he was slowly molding into a villain". Where is the villainous line in the sand exactly?
This is all really cool and I had no idea how dark it was!!
Yeah. His dad was an AH.

I totally agree. The 4 brothers were supposed to be good examples of how to lead. But this backfired massively.
While I understand the King's decision, I fear the eldest, may still have chosen the darker path
typical karen
I think the legend got one thing wrong, Mor'du's gift wasn't his strength, it was his pride...
I think he would have chosen strength over no matter what.
I agree
I'm wondering, would the wisps be other people who got a wish from the witch what went wrong? Or his brothers?

He chose power over his family.
3:17 why would the other 3 brothers fight each other instead of just ganging up on the eldest
They were fighting for the throne
She wasn't a witch! She was a whittler...of wood!
Yes😂

This is Elden ring levels of lore lol.
Youngest wise 2 compassionate 3 just of his slibings he's thought was all are puppets for those who see the strings

I don’t remember where I heard it from, but someone said in a theory, that Mor’du’ real name, the one when he was a prince, was Prince Constantine II.
The same story:☠️
The background music:😁
This so-called Prince Mor'du Too Much Madness from his nature power but not like curse from his bear Farm
Are Mordu and the other 3 brothers ancestors of the leaders?
I mean they do look like them
I agree the brothers could be the ancestors of king fergus and the three lords

GREAT 👍
I guess I understand the kings decision but the eldest son choose a darker path🧓👑
The prince was Mor’du long before he became a Bear
He should watch fast and furious it all about family
Sooo... the war was started, pretty much, because, Mor'du, felt gipped.
I hate him but i fell bad for him a little! 🥵😮💨😡
Man-bear-pig!
