WOW! Just plain WOW! I do quite a bit of this type of modeling. Your video showed a lot of techniques that are going to really help me in the future. Every Monday morning I sit down with a cup of coffee and look forward to your next class. If I were a jewelry designer I would be enrolled in your training program. Thanks!

Helix with the around curve option then piping the curves would have been a much better choice than twisting and flow. Your geometry would be much lighter.

I never used Rhino 6 before. I have used Fusion 360, not so much though, only for education purpose. This program is so good and it is just what i need for my hobby making silver rings.
My problem is that PJ is professional with this and i am not, so the speed of tutorial is too fast for me. And there is much i don´t know about the software itself. For example those windows in right side on PJ´s screen and how to get my windows to match his. I made a signet ring with help of PJ´s video. The video´s length was 14 minutes but for me it took several hours. I tried to look a video for beginners for Rhino 6 but there is not so much. I found one but it starts too much from " scratch " and ends where it should start. It would be nice if there was a tutorial for beginners with examples how to use all those tools, step-by-step.

Hi Risto, my new course "Jewelry CAD Design- Introduction to intermediate Rhino 3D" will be published on 7/15/2020. It is a systematic way to guild you from very beginning of Rhino. This will help you a lot to understand the fundamental 3D modeling concepts. After finishing the course, all my TH-cam tutorials will make more sense to you. You can check out the course at www.pjchendesign.com
