Excellent technique - such a pleasure to watch. It is hard to find such clear tutorials that make sense and we can easily follow and adapt for our projects. Can't thank you enough!
You are the best teacher PJ . Thank you so much for everything you’re doing . Best tutorials for functional jewelry design using rhino . Every video is packed with useful techniques that will be used on many common projects. Thanks again
Flow along surface with record history! wow! this helps soooo much! Its a great way to study the flow command, understand the exact relationship between the base, the solid and the final result.
Now I'm working in jewelry company. I have taste of art but I'm less experienced with rhino. All your videos helps me alot. Thank you very much PJ Chen ❤
Self-intersecting booleans have always been a bit of a bugger in Rhino. Your technique is as good as any, although that boolean at 9:48 won't work on Rhino version 5 or earlier. For earlier versions, you'd have to Join the pieces together, place a Box covering each corner (Polar Array would help), and Split the Celtic knot with the three boxes. You can then Cap those separated pieces, Boolean them together, Extract the caps, and then rejoin the split pieces.
you can always trim off the area you want it to be plain. then create profile to do the sweep 1. I have a rebuild bottom shank video in member only video couple weeks ago. you can check that one out.
I recently converted a mesh back to a nurbs, so I could remesh it. When I did it crash my computer. Settings do I need to put that on on the settings for the STL, for a good mesh and not crash the program.
All the Rhino file can export to obj. which CNC can read. However, in this particular ring, you may have some undercut that 3D printng may be more suitable.
Hi Ilst. You can check out my video th-cam.com/video/iWIk4emlqf0/w-d-xo.html for the fillet question. and yes, it happens on my model sometimes as well. you can also use "surface from 2,3,4 edges" to close it.
Hello Sir, I have a question about creating and drawing object in perspective view. I am not able to touch points which are above the grid surface. Every time I try to touch the points in the perspective, the program leads me to points somewhere in this flat background where the grid is. I appreciate the help. Thank you in advance.
Good morning, Abe, I know the program, and I am a jewelry designer, but I do not know the English language. We want the company of the Renault company to drop the Arabic language from among the languages, explain the Arabic language to me, so that we can learn the program and want to explain the program. To go on this program and train it and thank you

Want to see some Rhino 7 subdiv modeling.

Great Video. How would you do this with a plain shank that you taper down to?
you can always trim off the area you want it to be plain. then create profile to do the sweep 1. I have a rebuild bottom shank video in member only video couple weeks ago. you can check that one out.
Very helpfull!!

Thanks for your great videos, is that possible to connect with CNC sculpture machine?

Instead of intersect, how about extract iso curve? Great tutorials.
Thank you, Antonio,. Extract isocurve will work too. It will need to extract 4 times tho.
