I make that van down by the river reference from time to time and got tired of the blank stares from my kids, so I just sat them down last night to watch the SNL bit so that they would at least know what I am talking about for a change. Loved the video and the speech. I am planning to add some pegs to my bike and you gave me some things to think about regarding placement that I hadn't thought about. Also loved that you left the mistake in, shows that anyone can over tighten and warns others to be careful on that part.

Wish I could bring my 2019 RK Special to you. Not getting anywhere with my local dealer. You seem to be a honest person. My RKS first has a wobble at 40 mph. After playing with the steering head bearing adjustments it still wobbles. Now at 4k miles it's blowing oil smoke on start up. Seems there is a lack of trying to fix this bike. I have a 2015 Twin Cam Road King with 25k miles and it runs like a top. Not happy with this new bike. Can't believe this is not the only one out there with problems.

I just ordered the Ciro pegs and clamps. There is a difference from the time of this video. Thanks for the video John, I am getting the same guards and pegs for my Heritage.

dude I watch as many of your video as I can . I got my sportster 03 in great condition and I fit and test everything to work as well as it can ..I have been riding for 45 years and just got this bike last June and put 9,000= miles on it in 5 months ,my old lady tells me why don't I just wire past the key . I never shut it off anyway ...lol , well when I got this bike ,I got it from a guy that lost his leg a jet sky accident, and he had the bike with some mods .. one short brake linkage and shifting linkages the other was removed the engine guard and put a straight road high way bar on . this dose just what you were talking about and lets me rest my toes on the highway pegs and my heel on the foot pegs best set up I have ever seen on any bike ...and the last thing I can add is one time I was resting at a rest stop and a guy pulled up with his bike and ask if I needed help and we talk for a few . he took 6 of those cup holders and put them above the head light like a 6 pack holder .. I still think about that and lol ....stay safe stay free

I use a tank bag with 2L CamelBak bladder and associated tube/straw for water. Simple, functional and doesn’t make my bike look like a lounge chair...plus I ride Full face only. For coffee, I dedicated another 1L CamelBak bladder and put it in a small insulated lunch bag (find on Amazon). I only fill it with about 20oz of coffee to allow for expansion, and it’s plenty to drink before getting to work for a top off. The bladders don’t like super hot temperatures...200F or more, but hot coffee hit with some half and half seems to work just fine. The insulated pouch I use is small and doesn’t add much more in taking up space. A quick rinse wince to work and a wash once home, All worth while effort on cold morning commutes (40 miles @ 70mph one way, as low as mid 20F-40F in the winter). Ride on!

Not taking away anything from Ciro, just read a ton of reviews about the clamp breaking on tightening or busting while riding from bumps and vibration. And if you dont have an issue with tossing an L.E.M.C. a few bucks.
