    I bought these and ABSOLUTELY love them. They are so comfortable and adjustable it is unreal. Safety hazard: they feel so good I sometimes forget it is not the brake I am resting on. I had to add a 1/2 in spacer for my aftermarket exhaust ( the footrests had to come out 1/2 in for the bigger exhaust).

    Great Video! Just thought everyone should know that these stick out really far and are a site for sore eyes! I purchased them last week and was unable to return due to the product being "Special Ordered". Product is dropped shipped from Ciro 3D. Keep up the good work and keep these great product coming!!!

    What a great video. I feel the boxed instructions are lacking. I love the look of these pegs and the adjustability of them. I just put these on my bike, 2009 HD Ultra Classic CVO, and as per usual CVO changes things up, nothing that can’t be taken care of, but this may save time or frustration. #1 the front bolt normally for reuse can’t be reused on the Ciro, as the stock mount on the CVO is thicker than a stock mount of other bikes, and the mounting bolt is threaded into the mount itself, so I went to the hardware store and bought a bolt and not for replacement, sorry I don’t have the size, but it is longer than anything in the kit. #2 the CVO front floorboard mount is thicker than standard mounts, hence the space on the floorboards are wider so I installed a small shim (you could use washers) on the bolt fastening the floorboards to the new peg mount. This may not be necessary as the bolt has a short thread run and possibly wouldn’t be of concern, but it made me feel better. #3 if you are using HD foot pegs you will not need the little screw and clip designed for the new installation, i believe it is designed specifically for Ciro foot peg with notches, which HD doesn’t have. If you own a CVO these tips may save a bit of time and frustration.

    Ryan I put these on my CVO road glide. I went round a corner kinda fast and the first point of my bike to touch was this Ciro Mount…. Not the floor board or the feeler peg. It lifted my wheel and sent me down the road … low side. $15k damage. With your riding skills can you do some tests on this? I’d like to see how much it reduces the lean angle.

    • @stacysid2
      @stacysid2 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      first thig I thought of was the loss of lean angle. I frequently drag my floorboards around town & this product would not work for me. Sorry for the damage to your bike, but thanks for sharing this safety issue.

    Highway pegs are expensive and i have the Kuryakyn Pegs on my 98 goldwing. The problem is where they attach to the crash bar. The back side of the bolt almost rest against the engine side cover's. I've dropped my bike a few times( heavy sob )..lol and that bolt hits the cover. I need a bracket to move this away from the covers before i do some real damage

    Ryan, would they be in the way if you corner really tight?? I know when I was riding the Dragon in Tenn... my kick stand would drag...on left hand curves.

    • @RyanUrlacher
      @RyanUrlacher  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yah, but I drag my engine guards at times. And my floorboards, and my floorboard mounts, and kickstand, and on and on. As long as you know what your dragging. It's all gonna drag if your aggressive. All good.

    • @jfuente
      @jfuente 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      They do drag -- just don't lean more once you're at that point and you'll be good! They also act as another level of engine guard protection, wouldn't support a crash like a true engine guard but at parking lot speeds or just in the garage they work.

    I read on Ciro's website that Defiance floorboards require modification. They don't give anymore info on that. Will eventually call them about it, but have you ran in to any issue if using the deifance floorboards made by HD?

    • @scottanderson6129
      @scottanderson6129 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just got off the phone with Ciro. The tech said some minor grinding of the webbing on the underneath side of the floorboard needs to be done. Sounded like it was very minor so the floorboard will sit flat.

    Hey Ryan, appreciate another good video. Does require use Ciro foot pegs ? My ‘17 CVO Street Glide equipped with air flow collection pegs and I would like to match them.
    Thanks brotha ~

      You can use any standard footpeg you like. Doesn't have to be Crio.
