Rachel and Tag try to hide their relationship at work but when Rachel writes a revealing evaluation as a joke. I love Ross buying Phoebe a bike after hearing that she never rode one as a child. Many of the Ross detractors forget his redeeming moments, and this is definitely the most heartwarming thing that he did for his friends.

Look at that bike! It's a girl bike when she is a grown woman! That's what the laugh is about. But then you do hear some Awww. Ross got her the bike she would have had as a girl. Very sweet.
Btw I'm around their age and did have a bicycle very much like this. It's a laughter of recognition that whoever did props was so spot on!

Rachel really did get lot of shades to her character alongwith her dresses & hair. She was able to wear many shoes in just one show. Here she was too funny almost behaving like women who can easily dupe others that way- getting excited that the man didnt even notice that there was something between us coworkers!! Didn't she look top class professional in that dress just about to do evaluation of that young boy?! It was so hilarious to see her do that table thing (remove all items on it in that particular style- it was dramatic) and the very next thing she said - I always wanted to do that - looked very natural...❤❤

Friends was not a realistic show of life in North America. It was an activist show to try to push certain changes and promote a certain ideology, set of values and vision that the producers supported.
I bet a lot of the messages that were sent out, along with all the other media that agreed with it, has really harmed us. For example, the opening scene. Sorry girls, but while some guys talk about MILFs, I don't think the super attractive woman for most men is a woman older than them, in a pants suit, with short hair. But many of those girls who watched the show in the 90s and early 2000s are grown up now and so maybe they know that now. I hope young girls still watching this show today realize it's not reality.
It's the idea of using up your 20s in hookup bars, that all women will be these power players flying around to international meetings on some exciting careers, when most women and most men don't have careers like that. They have jobs. And being fulfilled for most people is to be around other people, to have kids and a partner and a family. Focus on career until you're 30, says the show, then get that 21 year old stud... okay... in real life, good luck with that. Not impossible, but it's certainly rolling the dice...

Lots of reasons.
Mostly because he has a pretty bad track record of being toxic and possessive in his relationships, but he's also caring and sweet with his friends and he always gets his comeuppance. So he balances out for me.
