I've always wanted to play a game like this. Free roam...free choice (mostly). The perfect escape. But...I used to get too lost in it. Tired eyes and tired brain...even tired emotions. Too invested...craved the escape from reality too much. And when my brain finally told me "this isn't real..." well I...I was lost again. So lost...didn't know what was home anymore...my real world or the Skyrim world. Perhaps a healthy balance was needed between the two...where quests are fulfilled in both, and characters grow healthily in both.
Need to go to Wal-Mart tomorrow in Solitude. Then I have to to the outskirts of Dawnstar and look for a Mammoth tusk for the cute red head I met at the Whiterun market.....
I was listening to it on the flight to my father's funeral, experiencing the tide of intense emotion come and go. As it was transitioning into the quieter part, I said "Wind guide you" - and that's when the feeling of acceptance rolled in... I looked around and saw passengers seemingly doing menial things, yet at the same time, travelling each with a purpose beyond what my eye could meet. It was a sonder moment, and I thought: "wind guide us all"

Para asi volverlo a jugar como el primer dia con la intriga de explorar cada rincon y no saber que encontrare, aprender encantamientos nuevos adentrarme en las cuevas y encontrar tesoros. Al día de hoy tengo cerca de 800 horas de juego.

when this song plays, especially that part, it just screams triumph or you've finally made it to the top of the mountain.
