Thar Shot in Nepal with .300Win Mag firing 210gr Berger VLD Bullet

After the 210gr Berger VLD had done its job we managed to get him down to an area where we could take photos. By this time Won Chu and the other guides had managed to climb up to where we were taking pictures. We were all elated and the shot had been perfect dropping him on the spot when he rose from his bed. It would have been one of the best shots captured on film had the guide next to me remembered to press record !!!
Went for a shoulder mount but now I wish I'd had a full mount as he had such an incredible mane.

Good job! Did the bullet pass through? What was the yardage? Do you recommend that bullet for deer 400 yds and in, or just long dist shooting?

I booked a hunt with their goverment and was issued all the relevant CITIES permits etc that i would not have got at all if a protected species
