Love the videos! I’m one of your new subscribers. What scan tool are you using. I’m seeing that a lot of the higher end DiY models models don’t cover some of the basic functions of Chrysler/Stellantis vehicles.

Question, do you recall if a 96 Dakota has a circuit breaker built into the headlight switch? My headlights blink off and back on at times.

Billy, I don't think there is a circuit breaker, but I could be wrong. My first guess would be a bad ground? Issue with relay? Both? J.T. Will have a better idea!

The headlight switch on my Dart has a circuit breaker and the headlights used to randomly shuf off after running a while. I replaced the switch as they were easy to find back then but no improvement. It turned out on my antique the high/low beam switch on the floor was bad. Once I found a low mileage one it stopped shutting off randomly. Those old cars would have the main power plug on the switch itself get corroded and bad from leaks, too much current over the years, etc. If the Dakota still uses the old school switches and dimmer switch on the floor might want to look at it.
